...is exactly like younger Akshara and Naitik. I have seen in the discussion platform that Naira is not like Parents and so on but I beg to differ. Those who have seen YRKKH from the beginning would relate and somewhat agree to it that she is like how her mom/dad was in their younger days (except the rude and talking back to elders). When YRKKH started and till probably first 4 years of the show (before leaps phase) we were shown Akshara as well as Naitik as someone who was imperfect. They use to make mistake, They use to falter. Basically they are the characters who grew as the show progressed. So in a way Naira is like her Parents.
She is rude (cause of the circumstances) at time but she is lovable too like her parents. She talks back to elders but in that also, she speak for what is right and stand by it like her Parents do. She is affectionate, soft hearted as her Parents. She is flawed with lot of heart the same way like her parents were. When you grow old, you grow as a person too, you become a more rounded person. Now Akshara and Naitik looks like people with no flaws but they were not always like this. This growth in character is what we call "Maturity". Naira is still very young, she is a good human being who has her heart in the right place. She too will mature as the show progress. This is what we call "YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI
YRKKH worked for such a long time cause it's both leads (Akshara-Naitik) were flawed characters. Who learned from their mistake and became better human beings and progressed in their relation as the show progressed. Hope the New generation also find connect with the audience as most of them are good actors, specially Naira, Kartik and Gayu.
