Are there any books which you were really excited to read but did not like them at the end? Or ended with mixed reviews?

There are many such books for me.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.

Many will agree with me:

AFTER YOU! 👎🏼 I don't need to mention the author!

Bloodline by Sydney Sheldon

I thought the end was a bit too predictable and disappointing.

I've read better fanfiction to be honest. 😕

Also, The Lost Sybol (Dan Brown). And Inferno by the same author.
Scion of Ikshvaku.
The entire Heroes of Olympus series but especially the last book, Blood of Olympus.
