Shurpanakha brings water for Sita and tells her to beg her for water if she needs it.  Meghnad warns her and Shurpanakha tells she is not doing anything but gives one day time to Sita to bow down in front of her.

Kaikasi is doing some homa and testing the sati powers of both Mandodari and Sita and finds out that Sita is more powerful.  She decides to inform Raavan.

Raavan comes to Sita and taunts her.  He tells her to see the karma and fruits of karma which Sita was speaking of and if she had married Raavan before, she would have been better off in Lanka and now she is a prisoner there.  Sita tells if her coming to Lanka like this was the fruits of her karma of being married to Ram, then she feels it is her heaven and tells Raavan won't understand this.  Raavan angrily raises his hand to stop her speaking and Kaikasi comes there.  Raavan leaves from there and Kaikasi sees the divine aura of Sita.

Kaikasi calls Sita as sati and Raavan wonders about it.  Kaikasi tells Raavan that Mandodari was concerned for him as she thinks Sita is a sign of destruction to him and Lanka but now Kaikasi has found out that Sita's satitva is more powerful and can become a shield of protection for Raavan and asks him to marry her.

In the morning, again Shurpanakha sees Sita and taunts her.  Meghnad and Sulochana come there.  Meghnad warns Shurpanakha and she says no one can stop her today.  Shurpanakha asks Sita how she feels handcuffed.  Sita says all that she could see is all are binded by cuffs there, some cuffs are visibly seen and some not and some are metal cuffs and some are gold cuffs.  Shurpanakha sees her jewelry on hand and gets angry.  Just then, Raavan calls her.  Seeing chandrahas in his hand, Shurpanakha thinks he is going to kill Sita and tells him today he is really behaving like her brother and gives way to him.  Raavan looks at Sita and cuts the handcuffs.  All are surprised including Sita.  Raavan tells Sita that she has to be in the rajmahal and not out.

Shurpanakha gets angry and tells what she feared had happened and what about her insult now.  Raavan warns her it is his Lanka and everything happens according to his wish and no one dares to question him.  He tells her if she goes against him, she can leave from Lanka and no one will try to find her this time.  Shurpanakha angrily goes from there.

Raavan turns back to see an unmoved Sita.  He tells her not to test his patience and come to the mahal and it is the best place in all the three worlds.  He tells her she can choose any of the rooms with all the comforts available and it will be granted.  Sita moves from there.  Raavan, Vibhishan, Meghnad and Sulochana follow her.  Raavan asks her to not hesitate and choose any place for her.  Sita moves out of the palace.  Meghnad goes to stop her but Raavan stops him and tells him to let her go and once she is over her sorrow, she will come again.

Sita sees a tree and has flashes of her and Ram sitting under a tree and conversing.  She says to herself she will not express her sorrow but will wait for Ram.  She goes to the tree, touches it and says she will wait there until Ram comes or until she dies.  She sits down and cries.

Precap:  Sulochana asks Meghnad how can he see his father doing this adharma and he signs her to stop.
