Omgggh !! The only ppl who I can imagine to come close to Rambo is Milind Soman and Randeep Hooda..

They could have confetti and whipping cream spurting out of their water guns while they play balam pichkari jo tune meri mari on the backdrop

Sid is not majestic enough to play Rambo. Plus he lacks that Action hero vibe, considering how stupid he looked in Ek Villian fighting scenes.

If we want an A-lister, Hrithik can do the job, as he looks convincing and can pull off the stunts well.

Vidyut is the best guy to play as MEb said but he is not a crowd pulller but, a Big but, if the movie will be rightly hyped and promoted as Rambo remake who knows even with Vidyut it might pull in crowds and if the movie is good enough who knows even with Vidyut might be a hit. Afterall the character Rambo in itself is a big name to sell the movie.

I hope this is not true. Forget the casting part, I don't want Bollywood to remake Rambo at all. John Rambo was an American Vietnam vet. I cannot see how that works in India.

But if the movie is about a troubled veteran of an Indian war then the makers shouldn't make any references to Rambo at all. The comparisons will hinder the film in every way in my opinion. Anyway, in that case I wouldn't mind Sid doing it if there is more to the script than just action and special affects. This is by DNA so who knows if it's even true.

If makers planning on to make its official remake then they shld make it properly don't wann see them ruining this movie, coz its one of the iconic movie series of all time of Sly which is loved by all ppl.

Especially 1st n 2nd part of Rambo is mind blowing. And to play Rambo Sid doesn't have that solid body like Sly has.

Rambo is an iconic series and even Hrithik shouldn't dare to touch it please. It's better to make a normal masala film with Sid instead of announcing it as Rambo official remake.

Sid should chuck that Ittefaq remake and stick to BB2, Rambo and A3. We saw this year in Fitoor and Sarabjit what happens when an actor takes on more than he/she is capable of. I think Sid is great for Rambo's role.

Hindi movie "Brothers" was an official remake of HW movie "Warriors" and Sid played the role originally done by Tom Hardy.

I think u got mixed up with very old HW movie, Rainman starring Dustin Hoffman which was abt 2 brothers and had Tom Cruise. 😆

Hey Pallavi .. Oh sorry yes i think i mixed those two films. But Rain man starring Dustin and Cruise was also remade by our Sallu bhai as Yuvraaj, which flopped terribly. The question is not who has played Hoffman, Cruise or even Sylvester's roles, the only problem i have is these films and characters are classics, a lot of memories is related with such films, and it certainly does not make me appreciate Bollywood when they try to remake these films. I am sure you might feel the same if some of your favorite films are remade , for example DDLJ .. Even brothers flopped, Yuvraaj flopped, Bang bang under performed, and there are many more examples.

Hollywood and Sylvester are no Holy Grail that BW cannot make official remakes. At least its official and not just a ripoff as they usually do.

HR would have suited the role more or Jamwal but maybe Sid can look the part if he gets some more muscles.

And yes, India doesnt have Vietnam Vets but surely they can show him as a tough Army Vet who takes on a dangerous mission against terrorists in this adaptation.

And when did i say that HW is holy, i am just saying that HW is superior, and i do not want to argue over it. I am sure Vidyut or HR would work hard and suit as Rambo, but as i said i would not want them to go ahead with it, already HR had enough of me with Bang bang, no more trying to be Tom Cruise or Stallone please. Plus the director Sid anand is terrible 🥱
