Siya Ke Ram Written Update - May 11, 2016

Shurpanakha proposes Ram who tells her to behave within limits.  Shurpanakha says love crosses all limits and asks him to marry her.  She brings garlands and Ram steps back.  Shurpanakha tells since he is hesitating, she will put the garland to him first.

Sita is doing pooja of shivling.  As the pooja completes, a lady asks about the importance of the somvaar vrath.  Sita explains Lord Shiva's love for Sati which made Sati to take rebirth as Parvathi.  Parvathi did this vrath and married Shiva and so women do this vrath to get their husband's love.  Sita prays to Lord Shiva to save and Ram from all evils.

Shurpanakha goes to garland Ram and Ram throws it.  He tells her to behave within limits as he is married.  Shurpanakha does not believe he is married.  Ram tells it is truth that he is married so he cannot marry her and he does not wish to marry her.  Shurpanakha says no one can come between her and Ram and asks him why he is insulting her.  Ram tells she is insulting herself and leaves from there.

In Lanka, a soldier informs Raavan that Virat died.  Raavan is angry and tells he underestimated those two sanyasis.  Meghnad offers to go to dandak to kill them both.  Raavan does not agree with Meghnad going there and tells they have lot of maharathis still to handle those issues.  He asks Malyavan to inform Khar and Dushan about it and ask them to kill the sanyaasis within the next four days.  Else, Khar and Dushan should select their punishment themselves.  Someone calls Raavan's name and all see him.  It is Vishravas, Raavan's father.  Raavan is not pleased to see his father there.  Vishravas scolds Raavan for not following dharma.  Raavan welcomes his father to Lanka, asks Malyavan to make arrangements for his father's stay there and leaves from there.

Shurpanakha is angry.  One of the daasis ask her what happened and she slaps her.  She says they did not make her look beautiful enough to attract the sanyasi and goes to punish the daasis.  The daasis beg her and tell she needs to be more dedicated as the sanyasi is not an ordinary man.  Shurpanakha calms down and says she can do anything for Ram.

Ram is in his hut.  Jatayu comes there.  Ram welcomes him and asks him to have breakfast.  Jatayu says the matter is serious.  Jatayu says as Ram had asked him to have an eye on Panchavati, he was doing the same.  Some days before, he saw Ram helping a lady and got suspicious about her.  When he followed her, he got to know that she is Raavan's sister Shurpanakha.  Ram is shocked to know this.

In Lanka, Raavan and his father are at Shiv mandir and Vishravas asks Raavan to do the pooja.  Raavan hesitantly does the pooja and tries to leave from there.  Vishravas orders the soldiers for privacy and scolds Raavan for having astrayed from the path of dharma.  He reminds him of the great family line of his family and warns him to realize and surrender to Mahadev who will protect him.  Raavan asks who called him here.  Vishravas tells father can come visit his son without invitation.  Raavan asks still someone should have invited him to advise Raavan and asks who is it.  Vishravas tells he was called by the one who loves Raavan the most and the one who cares for the asur lok and Lanka.  Raavan is angry.

Ram wonders why did Shurpanakha hide her identity.  He informs Jatayu that Shurpanakha proposed him and he rejected her for obvious reasons.  He asks Jatayu to not tell this to anyone as it is not right to insult a woman.  Jatayu praises Ram for his concern for women and asks him to be careful as Shurpanakha can do anything and would not differentiate right or wrong and would do anything like her brother Raavan.

Precap:  Vishravas and Raavan are still arguing.  Ram and Sita are together and Shurpanakha sees them and thinks she will wait for the right time.
