And many girls commit suicide, as they think there is no more life left

And u can even see people voicing for the criminals 

even a Goddess like Sita was no exception to this unwritten biased rule

Yes.And even if the rapists are punished,the trauma which the rape survivors have to go through is unbearable.The society points fingers at then,keeps on nagging and taunting them.Even after getting justice,the girl is not able to lead a normal life.
