It was enough. She decided as she wiped away her tears with the palm of her hands.
She sighed deeply, challenging herself internally to look at her broken self in the mirror. And when she did, a fierce expression had donned her face.
It was enough. The humiliation and the pain.
It was her life and she chose who could hurt her, who could love her, and who could remain in her life.
And she decided she no longer could afford to wield that power to him.
He who has made his life's purpose to make her miserable, to make her cry. She survived and clawed back at whatever trouble life had served her.

However it was the fates that decided whether their paths met again or not.
It was undecided, their future
For they had to wait for the seasons to change
For life itself will rearrange
And make a way for them to follow
They just had to wait it out for now
Before it starts making sense again.
