Siya Ke Ram Written Update - March 30, 2016

Kekeyi comes running to see Dasharath.  She is unable to believe his death.  She tells him she knows he is angry with her but he hurt her too.  She asks him to open his eyes and see her, his beloved queen.  She holds his legs and cries.  She feels the legs are still warm and asks the doctor to check again.  Sumitra who was trying to calm herself lashes out on Kekeyi.  She asks Kekeyi to stop all the drama as she is the reason for Dasharath's death and she is the reason for them being widowed.  Kausalya asks Sumitra to calm down as whatever had to happen has happened and nothing is going to revert with her lashing out on Kekeyi.  Kekeyi questions Sumitra that does not Kekeyi also had lost her suhaag.  Sumitra replies her that King Dasharath had renounced her and declared he has no relationship with Kekeyi and so she is not.  She also requests Kekeyi to go away as her being there would also hurt Dasharath's soul.  She pushes Kekeyi and she leaves from there.  Sumitra apologizes to Dasharath for her behavior telling she did so to respect his wishes.

Ram does the rituals in the river for the deer.

Dasharath's dead body is placed in a hall and people have gathered there for mourning.  Sumantra asks Vashishta's permission to start the final rites.  Vashisht says final rites are done by the sons.  Sumantra says it would take two more days for Bharath and Shatrugan to reach there.  Vashisht tells him that they have to wait till then and Dasharath's body will be preserved in medicinal oils.

Ram is sitting sad.  Sita comes there.  He tells her that he is feeling overwhelmed as someone close to them have died.  Sita tells him that the grief of leaving all their relatives at Ayodhya and coming to the jungle has been coming out now as they witnessed the death of this deer.  She reminds his words to him that they have to come to the jungle to live as sadhus and should not hold on to the past and live in the present for the next 14 years.  Ram agrees with her and tells that their journey has just started.

In Ayodhya, medicinal oil is poured in a big tub where Dasharath's body is kept.

Bharath and Shatrugan reach Ayodhya.  They find the city silent and people sad.  They get anxious and try to speak to people but all of them turn away from them.  Bharath and Shatrugan decide to go to the palace as soon as possible.  They reach the palace and situation is same there too.  They meet Sumantra and ask him what happened.  They have never seen their city and people like this and all are angry with them and ask him to tell what happened.  Sumantra asks them to come with him and they leave.  Manthra comes there and is happy to see Bharath and goes to inform Kekeyi about this.

Sumantra takes them to the hall where people are mourning the death of King Dasharath.  Bharath and Shatrugan are shocked to see Sumitra and Kausalya in white dress and understand what has happened.  They go to Dasharath and start crying.  Bharath cries feeling guilty that he could not be at the side of his father at his last moments and regrets going to Kekeya.  He tells he cannot forgive him for this ever.

Precap:  Looks like Bharath got to know what happened.  He is in Kekeyi's room and is scolding her telling how she has turned an evil mother and as she snatched Ram's crown to place it on his head, he would cut off his head and takes a knife.  Kekeyi stops him.
