Sita requests all to allow her to do her sthree dharma.  Ram comes to her and says he would not be an obstacle in her performing her duties and allows her to come to jungle with him.  They leave from there and are walking in the corridor.  Sita is happy and Ram smiles seeing her.  While they are walking together, from the other end of the corridor, Lakshman in hermit dress and Urmila come together.  Sita is shocked seeing Lakshman's dress.  She asks him about it.  Lakshman is unable to tell and he sees Urmila.  Urmila comes forward and speaks to Sita.  She tells Sita that Lakshman is also following them to the jungle.  Sita scolds her and asks why did not she stop him.  Urmila tells she knows Lakshman's life motive is to serve Ram and they are inseparable, and knowing this, she could not stop him follow his dharma as it is also her sthree dharma to help her husband fulfill his dharma.  Sita tells it is okay but still 14 years is too long and how will she be able to live there alone.  Urmila tells her desire and expectation will make her pass that time and Sita praises her and tells Urmila's sacrifice has set a new standard for sthree dharma and hugs her.

Ram and Sita go to Kekeyi's room to take blessings from her before leaving.  Manthara does not like Sita going with Ram to jungle.  Kekeyi is shocked to see Sita in sadhvi dress.  She tells her she had only asked Ram to leave for jungle and not Sita, so why is she going to jungle.  Sita reminds her their first convo after Sita's gruhapravesh in Ayodhya palace where Kekeyi tells her to always be with her dear son and she is following the same.  Ram tells her they have come to take her blessings before leaving.  Ram asks her to not feel guilty for sending him to the jungle.  In fact, she has relieved him from a big dilemma.  He tells her he and his brothers grew up all together, educated together and they even married together on the same day.  When Ram's coronation was announced, Ram was in dilemma and hesitant to take the simhaasan alone.  Now that Kekeyi has ordered him to go to jungle, he is relieved of his biggest problem.  He is very happy for his brother Bharath to become the king of Ayodhya.  The only thing saddens him is he would not be able to see his brother Bharath's coronation but he admits his happiness would be the same as that of Kekeyi's happiness when she sees her son Bharath getting coronated.  He also asks her to not be angry with his father.  Ram and Sita touch her feet and get blessings.

Ram, Sita and Lakshman come to Dasharath's room to take his blessings.  They look at him sadly.

Some person comes running and gathers all people around.  He tells them they are being cheated.  He is coming from the palace and he got to know Ram is being sent to jungle for 14 years.  People wonder who will be the king then.  He tells them Bharath will be their king and this is all Kekeyi's scheming. 

In Kekeyi's room, Manthara is angry at Kekeyi's foolishness.  Kekeyi asks her to say it openly.  Their motive behind sending Ram to jungle for 14 years is because he lose his right to claim the kingdom but now as Sita is also going with him, their kids will become the next heir and Ayodhya people will gladly accept Ram and Sita's kids as their next prince.  She asks Kekeyi to do something.

Dasharath is closing his eyes and Ram touches his feet.  Dasharath wakes up and sees all three of them and is sad.  He gets up and Ram tells he has come to take his permission to leave.  Dasharath says now his permission would not be significant for Ram as he has already taken his decision.  He looks at Lakshman and asks why is he going with Ram.  Lakshman says it is his duty to be with Ram always and so he is also going with him.  Dasharath asks him then what about his duties towards his father.  He then tells he is very disappointed with Sita as she was his last resort.  He tells he thought he has got his daughter from Mithila but she has not accepted him as her father at all.  Sita nods negatively.  Dasharath said he had hopes that Sita would stop Ram which she did not.

Precap:  Ram, Sita, and Lakshman are outside the palace.  Kekeyi comes there.  Ram says he is happy as she came to bid farewell.  Kekeyi tells no, she had come there to remind him something important.  She tells him the dress he is wearing has its significance and he be aware of it even in jungle indicating he has to practice brahmacharya for14 years in jungle and only then his vanvaas is considered complete.
