I am Only Doing Half Girlfriend, Shimit Amin's Film Never Came to Me - Arjun Kapoor

It has been almost 14 months since we saw Arjun Kapoor on the big screen. His last release was Tevar that came out in January 2015. Now Arjun is gearing up for Ki and Ka opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie releases on April 1, post which Arjun begins work on Half Girlfriend.
Apart from this Mohit Suri film, it was speculated that Arjun has been signed for Shimit Amin's next film which will also star Parineeti Chopra in the lead.
When we asked Arjun about it, he denied the speculations and said, "Everyday in the morning when I read the paper, I come to know new things about me. Though I am on twitter, I have realized that it is not the place to be negative or bitter. Because speculations are part and parcel of our lives. Some people are gracious enough to pick up the phone and check with me. And I have been very lucky that the media has been positive towards me on most accounts. Certain people speculate."
He adds, "According to the media, I am doing many films, which in reality I am not doing. I am genuinely doing only Half Girlfriend. Shimit's film never came to me officially and it was only the media that thought I had it."
