Siya Ke Ram Written Update - March 9, 2016

Ram tells Sita that he has mixed feelings about Dasharath's decisions of Ram's rajyabhishek.  Sita recalls what Dasharath said to her about her responsibilities once she becomes the maharani of Ayodhya.  Sita tells Ram that her father used to say that when we are in confusion, indecisiveness, then we have to follow just dharma.  Ram agrees with her.  He tells her that everything is happening so quickly so he is worried about missing something, whether he is taking away someone else's right, whether he is doing justice to all.  He tells that he would have felt good if Bharath and Shatrugna were also with them.  Sita tells him that he could speak to Kekeyi about it.  Someone calls Ram.

Manthara is angry and is lamenting about her and Kekeyi's unluck.  She decides she will do something.

Guru Vashisht, Sumantra and some sevaks come to Ram's room.  Ram and Sita greet them.  Guru Vashisht tells them they have too many rituals to be completed before rajyabhishek and asks them to wear the clothes they have brought with them.  Ram is in thoughts and Guru Vashisht calls him.  He tells Ram that this is not the time for thinking what is right and wrong.  It is time to act rather as they have very less time and have too many rituals.  He asks Ram to consider that everything is happening by fate and he has to just follow it.

Indra is running and Raavan is chasing him.  Indra tries to hide somewhere but Raavan follows him everywhere.  Raavan wants to fight with Indra and win so that he can become the lord of swarg.  Indra is running as he thinks it is not the right time for him to fight with Raavan.  Raavan finally confronts Indra and asks him to either surrender or fight with him.  Indra thinks as long as Raavan has his chandrahas (sword) with him, it is not wise to fight.  Just then he sees a flock of peacocks flying and transforms into a peacock and flies from there.  Raavan is angry seeing this but does not give up.  He tells he will find out Indra and fight again.

Manthara comes to Kekeyi's room, pushes a large vase and Kekeyi gets up from sleep.  Manthara is crying telling about her and Kekeyi's unluck.  Kekeyi asks her to tell what happened.  Manthara tells her King Dasharath had announced Ram as his successor.  Kekeyi asks whether this is true and Manthara confirms.  Kekeyi goes to meet King Dasharath.

Raavan is at a hill top and one of his sevaks comes there in the form of a bird.  The sevak tells Raavan that he has searched everywhere for Indra but could not find him.  Raavan tells him that Indra took the form of a peacock and asks the sevak to search again.  Indra along with other peacocks land at some place.  Indra comes back to his real form and is pleased with the peacocks for helping him.  He expresses his gratitude to them, gives he will bless them to have 1000 eyes in their wing and whenever it rains, they will become happy and dance.

The rituals start in front of God's idol.  Guru Vashisht explains them the details.  He asks Ram to take sankalp.  Sita asks its significance.  Guru Vashisht explains all about it that Ram will have to take sankalp, then they will go to Sarayu river, have bath and take water from there and go around the city.  It indicates that Ram will take care of all the people and serve them wholeheartedly.  Then, after all that, he will have the crowning ceremony in the morning.  Lakshman asks guru when are they going to do parikrama.   Guru says due to lack of time, they will have to start immediately.

Kausalya and Sumitra ask Dasharath about his secret actions.  They tell him that Ram's crowning ceremony is a big thing and ask him why this much secrecy about that.  Dasharath is speechless.  Kekeyi comes to his room.  King Dasharath turns to his queens and tells them there is nothing as to say and he was about to inform them about it.  He sees Kekeyi also there and is speechless.  Kekeyi comes to him while having the flashback of their convo years back where Kekeyi tells him that he had given vachan to her father about making her son as his successor and he is not fulfilling it.

Precap:  Ram bathes in Sarayu river.  In palace, argument between Dasharath and Kekeyi.
