Siya ke Ram: 27 February 2016 Written Update

Sumanta tells Ram that they must leave this dangerous forest as they have to visit Shanta too. Ram agrees and they all leave. Demons Virat and Mahashambhar see them leaving from a cliff. The latter demands more army and claims that he will defeat Ram but Virat advises him not to hurry as Ram has destroyed their army. Revenge will be taken when the right time comes.

Mandodari arrives at her father's place and recalls his bitter words. Her mother sees her and utters that her father won't be happy to see her. Mandodari asks if he's still scornful towards her. Her mother replies that her father doesn't despise her, that was Destiny. Mandodari's father comes and exclaims that he won't like to meet her ever. Mandodari begs him to tell her about the Amrit Kalash as Ravan's life is in danger but he refuses saying that he still remembers that sinner placing a dagger in his neck. A flashback shows Ravan forcibly demanding Mandodari's hand.

Manthara instructs the maids to prepare Rangolis. Kaikeyi tells her to make the best arrangements for all four sons and their wives. Kaushalya comes with Sugni, the daughter of Kaushalraj's maid. She asks Manthara to guide her as she would be serving Ram and Sita. Kaikeyi welcomes Sugni to Ayodhya. Both the queens leave. Manthara angrily instructs Sugni to bring flowers and smiles in an evil manner.

Mandodari's father recalls Ravan lighting a huge pyre and taking pheras with Mandodari. He utters that she would be responsible for his welfare, his Kutumbh and would be loyal to him. Moreover, nothing would be above his respect for her. Mandodari agrees to it all. Her father breaks all ties with her and labels her a stain on his family.

Mandodari requests her father to understand her but he leaves abruptly. Her mother gives her the power to reach Chandra Lok, where the Amrit Kalash is kept. Mandodari seeks her blessing.
