Abhi slaps Pragya and Tanu hugs him crying with her usual dramas.
Pragya sees this and cries.

I will be v happy if this is not true and if it's a dream, but I doubt.
It's all building up to Abhi regretting after exposure.
Building up for emotional reunion.

Pragya by pattern and habit dreams of Abhi hugging her and giving her sweeping apologies. The Abhi of her imagination is not someone who would even think of hitting her. That is solely the Abhi of her reality.

Also last time he slapped her for making him feel like a fool and lying about loving him. I would guess this time he will similarly be reacting to some perceived offense against him and interpreting her as selfish and undeserving of respect. Maybe it has to do with the baby issue - but not in defense of Tanu or in protection for the baby. Simply in outrage for himself and due to justified-in-his-mind disgust for Pragya.

Maybe Takhil found out Pragya is the blackmailer. And Tanu manipulated Abhi that Pragya is against the baby or something. And then this stupid slap.
