By ring scene, I think they're talking about Ram and Sita's negchaar sequence which will be shown after they enter Ayodhya. Traditionally, the bride and groom participate in rituals prepared by the groom's mother, in which a ring is dropped into a platter of milk and whoever finds it first wins. This ritual is meant for fun, to lighten up the mood and relax the new bride who is usually nervous about starting her life with a new family. Previous adaptations of Ramayan have shown this ritual, and this ritual is followed by many people today as well, so that's what I think they're shooting for at present.
