Zee Anmol- the premium FTA Channel from Zee is slowly resorting to malpractices to attract viewers.
Remember Servicewali Bahu? It was the third show of Kratika Sengar after the successful Jhansi Ki Rani and Punar Vivaah. Although it did get enough TRPs and had a short run on the parent channel, it was a nice concept.
Now the said serial is returning on Zee Anmol, but with a change in the title - it will be telecast omn the channel as Hello Payal - Hamari Servicewali Bahu.
But this is not the first time Zee resorted to such malparactices. Earlier they aired the not-so -popular serial Bandhan - Do Dil Bandhey Ek Dori Se with again a change in the title. The so-called "Zee Anmol version" of Bandhan was called Hum Do Humaare Do (looks like the tiltle has been borrowed from a Government campaign!)
This is totally a poor kind of stunt exercised by Zee Anmol to attract viewers to the channel. When Imagine TV (NDTV Imagine) closed, they took one popular serial from there called Bandini for Zee Anmol. It is OK if they take popular shows from defunct channels and air it over there (on Zee Anmol). But by airing these "not so successful" serials on the channel and that too for an unnecessary change in title, they are making a big mistake and this is not going to take them anywhere, no maytter whether they are in the BARC top 10 or not.
So, If they do not want to lose their loyal viewers, they (Zee Anmol) should immediately stop such malpractices and telecast good quality shows on the channel.
