Siya Ke Ram Written Update - February 3, 2016

Janak asks King Dasharath when would he like to meet Sita.  Dasharath states according to their customs, they won't meet would be daughter-in-law before marriage.

Sunaina comes back.  Chandrabhaga asks shall we take Sita to meet Dasharath.  Sunaina is sad and tells others that their and Ayodhya's culture are different.  In Ayodhya, groom's mother won't attend her son's wedding and also groom's father won't meet the would be daughter-in-law until marriage.  All are worried knowing this different customs followed in Ayodhya.  Urmila is happy and asks Sunaina that they want to go out with Sita as she would be leaving soon after her marriage.  Sunaina agrees.

Bharath and Shathrugna arrive Mithila and Sumantra welcomes them.  They go to meet Ram and Lakshman.  Bharath and Shathrugn meet them and are very happy and proud about Ram's achievements and feel blessed to be his brothers.  Ram also expresses his happiness and pride about his three brothers.  Bharath congrats Ram for his marriage and wants to meet Sita and take her blessings.  Lakshman says in a serious tone that Sita has already told them that she would only meet the only loyal brother of Ram who is always with him and that is him.  Bharath believes it and is sad. Ram scolds Lakshman and tell Bharath that Lakshman is teasing him.  He asks them to first refresh and have food and then can meet Sita.

In palace, Janak and all others have assembled.  Janak tells they are going to send Sita's kundli for muhurat selection and as per their tradition, they cannot send it without the bride's permission.  Sita tells him that she is blessed to be born in Mithila, blessed that Janak's accepted her as his daughter and is also blessed to have her marriage happen with his blessings.  She tells she agrees to send the kundali.

In Kailash, Shiv, Parvathi, Brahma and Narad are present.  They say the time has come which they were waiting for, Narayan and Lakshmi are going to get married in their human avatars and they are happy to witness it.  Shiva tells the full happiness is when they witness it present there in Mithila and Narad says he was also feeling the same and tells he is going to announce this to all devatas.  Mata Parvathi states all the devas will attend the wedding from groom Narayan's side and all the devis from bride Sita's side.

In Maharishi Yagyavalkya's ashram, all are present for the muhurat ceremony.  Maharshi Yagyavalkya asks their permission to start the event.  All agree.  Urmila brings the tray having Ram and Sita's kundalis to Maharshi Yagyavalkya.  He sees it one by one and expresses happiness that this is the first time he is seeing such kundalis where 36/36 gunas are matching.  All are pleased listening to this except Sunaina's brothers.  They say it is not auspicious as it indicates either the bride and groom will have a happy married life or a life full of problems.  Guru Vashisht asks Ram's opinion on this.

[Sorry, I am unable to explain in detail what Ram speaks about marriage.]  Ram states he does not believe marriage is based on only gunas match.  What is more important is how husband and wife respect each other, understand each other and fulfill their duties towards each other.  Sunaina's brothers ask some more questions to Ram about what is marriage, love or companionship.  Ram answers it is a promise and something like fulfilling duties, both husband and wife's interest in maintaining their relations makes it a successful marriage, which also builds companionship and fills love in their life.  He tells in the end he only understands this much about marriage.  Maharshi Yagyavalkya praises him saying it is an excellent answer.  Sunaina's brothers are also happy and say the muhurath can be fixed.  Maharshi Yagyavalkya states he has fixed the muhurath and it just five days from then.  All are pleased and they all invite all the Gods for this wedding.

Precap:  Mandavi bumps into Bharath and the plate of haldi spills over them.  Ram tells Mithila and Ayodhya have united.  Sunaina overseeing all the preparations for haldi ceremony.  In Kailash, Mata Parvathi says she is ready to attend Ram and Sita's wedding and has also decided how she is going and asks when is he coming there.
