Siya Ke Ram Written Update - January 27, 2016

Bharath and Shatrugna are shocked knowing Kekeyi's disapproval of Mithila's proposal.  Bharath thinks it is honorable to have relationship with Mithila and tells he will speak to Kekeyi.  Shatrugna stops him telling they all know how much Kekeyi loves Ram and this is her initial reaction for this proposal but their father, Kausalya and Sumitra would hopefully be able to explain and succeed in having her agree with them.

Sita has started cooking and is worried to know what type of food would Ram like.  Urmila offers her to help by knowing Ram's favorite dishes from himself when she goes to invite them for lunch.  Sita asks her to go immediately.

In Lanka, Raavan is very angry and is making arrangements to attack Mithila to take revenge on them.  Malyavaan tries to pacify Raavan unsuccessfully.

Urmila comes to meet Ram in the ashram.  She asks some Rishi where he is and goes to a hut.  She sees through a window to know who is in.  Lakshman comes from behind and aims his arrow and asks who it is.  Urmila turns and tells him she wants to meet with Dasharath nandan and Lakshman tells he is Dasharath nandan and Urmila tells specifically she wants to meet Ram to know his favorite dishes.  Lakshman tells Ram likes everything.  They keep arguing while Ram arrives there.  Urmila introduces herself to him and Ram tells he knows her.  She wonders about it and Ram tells she is like a reflection of Sita herself and so he could recognize her.  Urmila taunts Lakshman for not being a reflection of Ram.  She invites Ram and Lakshman for lunch and asks Ram's favorite dishes as Sita is cooking lunch for him.  Ram tells if Sita is cooking, then he leaves the choice of dishes to her and would have anything she prepares.  Urmila is happy hearing it.  She passes taunting comments about Lakshman.

In Ayodhya, Manthara is thinking about how is Ram's marriage with Sita, the prince of Mithila going to affect Kekeyi and Bharath.  She is wondering whom to ask the details.  Just then, a servant is taking some fruits to somebody.  Manthara asks him whom he is serving them.  The servant tells he is taking them to the messenger from Mithila.  Manthara is pleased to know this and takes the plate from servant and goes herself to meet the messenger.  She introduces her to him as a Mithila resident gotten to married to someone in Ayodhya.  The messenger is happy to meet her and he asks her whether King Dasharath will agree to the marriage.  Manthara tells him it will depend on how they are going to be benefitted.  The messenger tells her that they, all the people of Mithila , consider Sita as devi and narrates the incidence of her birth.

Urmila returns to palace and informs Sita about what Ram said her.  Sita is nervous.  Urmila also taunts about Lakshman's character and Sita defends him.  Urmila tells Sita and both Ram and Sita think similarly and tells how Ram defended her while she had gone to invite them.  Sita tells her that marriage means a new relationship with not just one person but with each member of the new family.

In Lanka, Mandodari and Malyavaan advise him not to attack Mithila.  Raavan does not listen to them and asks purohit to get auspicious time for attack.  Purohit tells the planetary positions are not favoring Raavan at this time and it is better they drop the idea of war.

Ram and Lakshman arrive and Janak and others receive them.  Urmila informs Sita and others that they have arrived.  Sita is nervous and Sunaina comforts her saying Ram would definitely like her cooking.  Ram, Lakshman and others take their seat.  Sita starts to serve food first for Lakshman.  Urmila wonders and asks Mandavi why is Sita serving first to Lakshman.  Mandavi teases her saying she is also speaking a lot about Lakshman.  Sita then serves food to Ram and asks them to have food.  Ram, Lakshman and others start eating.  Some time later, Sita tells them she is curious to know did they like her cooking.

Precap:  Ram tells Mithila's land is pure and anything grown there is delicious.  Raavan calls a many-headed serpent and asks it to attack Mithila.
