Siya Ke Ram Written Update - January 20, 2016

Raavan is roaring with his ten heads and all are scared.  He then tries to lift the dhanush again with all his might.  Janak, Sunaina, Shathanand who were a bit relieved before are tense as Raavan is slowly lifting the dhanush some.  Sita closes her eyes and prays and they show Mahadev.  Raavan slowly lifts the dhanush some but then drops it again.  Sunaina and others are greatly relieved.  Raavan is shocked as he could not lift it.  He tells King Janak that he is cheating all the kings present there by giving them a task that cannot be done by anyone.  There is some trick in it and hence, he being the greatest devotee of Mahadev is also not able to lift it.  He insults King Janak saying he has organized swayamvar of a girl who is not a princess, not even his own daughter and no one knows who she is.  Kushadwaja could not tolerate more and shouts "Lankesh" but King Janak stops him.  King Janak asks Ravan to accept his defeat as he could not lift the dhanush and there is nothing to be embarrassed about it but he has no rights to speak ill about his daughter.  Raavan instigates other kings present there saying they have been invited there to be humiliated and he and Malyavan leave from there.

In Kailash, Mahadev and Parvathi are speaking.  Mahadev tells Raavan's ahankaar of being the greatest Shiv bhakth is overriding his bhakthi itself and making him ignorant.  If he had realized his real bhakti, he would not have insulted King Janak and Sita.

Kushadwaja and Shathanand asks the other kings to not get instigated by Raavan's words and tell them that the dhanush has been with Janak's family for generations and all are familiar with its divinity.  One of the kings say since no one could lift it, they will fight and decide the winner.  King Janak says it is against the rules of swayamvar and he says he is ending this swayamvar.  Some kings do not agree with it and tell they are ready to fight and decide the winner.  One of them advises other kings to accept failure and leave as it is not right to go against rules.  Other kings do not agree.  King Janak is helpless and upset listening to all these arguments and Kushadwaja warns the king saying they are silent because they do not want to violate their rules, else ready for the war.

Amidst all chaos, a voice is heard saying war is definitely going to happen.  All turn around to see Maharshi Vishwamitra.  He enters the palace and all the kings calm down.  King Janak, Sunaina, Yagyavalkya and others are pleased to see Maharshi Vishwamitra.  Vishwamitra addresses all the kings present there to first fight with the two rajkumars first and Ram and Lakshman enter.  Maharshi introduces them to all as King Dasharath's sons Ram and Lakshman.

Precap:  Maharshi Vishvamitra asks Ram to string the bow and Ram prays and goes to lift the bow.
