Why Ranveer Singh refusing Rohit Shetty's 'Ram Lakhan' is false alarm!
How can Ranveer Singh refuse a film when it is still in the scripting stage and has not been offered to him?
Rohit Shetty's Dilwale didn't work well at the box office. Ranveer Singh's Bajirao Mastani worked wonders. And soon, there were reports that Rohit was keen on casting Ranveer for his next- the Ram Lakhan remake. Known for his hyperactive nautanki, Ranveer's possibly the best choice to play Lakhan in the remake. But suddenly there were reports claiming that Ranveer has turned down Rohit's offer.
Sadly, there's no truth to it. A source tells us, "Rohit has not even finished scripting the film. He is still writing it. He has not even approached anyone for the film. How can someone refuse it already?" Not just that, the same source told us, "Ranveer himself told in many interviews that he would love to do the film. Suddenly, there are reports of him turning down an offer he himself wanted in the first place. This is just false alarm."
So has Rohit decided the cast already? "Ram Lakhan released two decades back. Times have changed, there are three new generations in between. So Rohit is making a lot of changes in the script. Post that, he will think of the cast. But he does have a few names in mind."
