Siya Ke Ram Written Update - January 13, 2016

Ram and Sita see each other.  Other people move out after pooja.  The sisters see them and are surprised by Sita's behavior.  Lakshman recognizes Sita and wishes her and introduces Ram to her as he is his brother who saved the ashwamedha horse, killed Tadka and relieved the curse of Mata Ahalya.  He introduces Sita to Ram as who tended to the ashwamedha horse's wounds and is the one who prepared delicious food for all in Vishvamitra's ashram.  Urmila is happy seeing Ram there.  Sita greets Ram and says she was worried since returning from Vishwamitra's ashram and then corrects she was worried for all the people there.  Urmila interrupts and tells Ram that Sita was very much worried until they got the news of Tadka's death and they are happy for Mata Ahalya's release from curse and before Ram came to Mithila, tales of his bravery and compassion has reached them.  Sita thanks him and Ram says he did his duty.

Janak comes there praising Ram.  Ram greets him and takes his ashirvad.  Janak says Ram's place is in heart and they hug.  Lakshman also takes aashirvad.  Janak asks they are meeting for the first time and how did he recognize Janak.  Ram says they have been hearing about King Janak since childhood and as soon as they saw him, felt he was King Janak and it does not seem like their first meeting but they have known for ages.  Janak praises Ram and Ram replies humbly that they are just the reflection of their parents and teachers.  Janak praises the teachers are blessed who have a student like Ram and the parents are blessed with a son like Ram.  Sita turns to Mata Gowri and thanks her and pray to be blessed always.

Janak meets Vishwamitra and expresses his pleasure meeting with Ram. Vishwamitra reminds him of their meeting years back when Vishwamitra had informed of some invasions and he had meant of the same Tadka who Ram had killed.  Janak says they have already got to know about it and says whoever marries Ram would be lucky as well as her parents.  Maharshi Vishwamitra tells him he feels the same about Sita too.  Janak asks the intention of their visit to Mithila and Vishwamitra tells he has brought Ram and Lakshman to get darshan of the divine Shiv dhanush and Janak agrees with pleasure.

Ram is lying down and looking at the moon.  Sita is also looking at the moon in the palace and remembers meeting with Ram in the temple.  Lakshman comes to Ram and starts pressing his foot.  Ram asks him to rest but Lakshman does not.  Ram tells it is his orders and Lakshman also rests.  They speak about King Janak and Mithila and its people.  Ram agrees with him and tells the greatness of King Janak is reflected by his people.  Lakshman also tells the daughter of King Janak is beautiful and Ram agrees wholeheartedly and then tells he did not get to know about her much.

In palace, Urmila, Mandavi and Shruthakirti play with the swayamvar dolls and get into fight about Ram versus Ravan, who is going to string the bow.  Sita turns to them and is slightly upset thinking about the swayamvar.  Sunaina comes there and scolds the sisters and tells them whoever Sita is going to marry will be decided by the swayamvar.  Sunaina is also worried and asks Sita to sleep.

In Lanka, Malyavan comes to meet Ravan and calls for him.  Mandodari comes there with arti plate and gives prasad to him.  She asks his whereabouts as he had gone out of Lanka.  Malyavan tells her he had gone to Mithila and tells her about the swayamvar.  Mandodari is displeased and tells why another marriage.  Malyavan tells her it is not about another marriage but to the great Shiv dhanush which should actually be with Ravan, the greatest Shiva devotee.  Mandodari expresses dislike of Ravan's behavior of prisoning women and getting their curses and Malyavan pacifies her saying she is a great pativrata and no curse will affect Ravan because of her.  Mandodari says Ravan is not there and leaves.

In Mithila, King Janak, Sunaina, Kushadwaja, Chandrabhagam Shatanand and others are in the hall and King Janak tells them how happy he is after meeting with Ram.  Shathanand tells he can understand him.  King Janak also expresses as Ram has arrived there that he too participate in the swayamvar.  Just then, a servant comes there informing they have received letter from Ayodhya.  King Janak asks Kushadwaja to read it.  He reads it and which says Ram cannot attend their swayamvar as he is not present in Ayodhya and had gone out for some work with Rishi Vishwamitra.  All are upset by this reply and Sunaina tells they have rejected the swayamvar invitation.

Precap:  Ravan's introduction.  He boasts himself of his power and then shown dragging a lady.
