Everyone tries to stop Ram from approaching Ahilya. They tell him that she committed a run. If he still goes ahead, he will become a part of this sin. Ram softly asks who are they to judge a sin? It's not right to judge a person without being aware of the situations.
The men warn Lakshman of the dire conseque4nces Ram might face if he proceeds. Lakshman grows tense and attempts to stop Ram saying that the curse might affect him. Ram replies he isn't sure if he's the destined Raghuvanshi, but if he's the destined one, he is already late in addressing mother Ahilya's grievances. Moreover, it's a grave sin to neglect someone's tragedy. Lakshman expresses his concern and says that he is answerable to their mothers. Ram tells him that nothing will happen as he has a brother like him. Saying so, Ram marches ahead.
Ahilya's son Shatananda comes and greets Vishwamitra. The sight makes him recall Sita's words. Ram enters the hut and beholds the cursed Ahilya, turned into a stone. His heart gets filled with compassion and he goes near her. He seeks her pardon and touches her. Ram's miraculous touch liberates Ahilya from sage Gautam's curse. She beholds Lord Vishnu's divine form and joins hands in devotion. Her emotions overflow. The haunted site soon changes to a lively ashram it once was. Ram tells Ahilya that he's like her son and has done no favour. He takes her outside.
Everyone gets amazed on seeing Ahilya and recalls Sita's words assuring him that soon a Raghuvanshi would break the curse. Sage Vishwamitra introduces Shatananda. The latter falls on Ram's feet. After that, the mother-son duo embrace each other. Ahilya utters that though she saw him grow up, she could never embrace him. Ahilya expresses her gratitude towards Ram and says that he made this curse seem a blessing. Sage Gautam arrives at the scene. Ram smiles.
