Ram, Raja Dasharath and Guruji and everyone present there were doing the Ashwamedh Yagya. The horse is brought there. Kaushalya does the tilak to the horse as well as aarti. Ram talks to the horse and asks him to spread happiness and peac as well as his message should be just about love and patience during his yatra. The horse starts running and Ayodhya's soldiers follow him.
Ram goes to Jabali. Jabali says the time to understand and to find the solution has gone. He further adds that Ram should have stopped Ashwamedh yagya when it was announced he should have told Raja Dasharath to challenge other kingdoms for a war. He asks was there any reason to make a horse run for one year. He tells people say the horse reaches heaven after being sacrificed. He further adds if there is heaven and it was so easy to reach there, then why doesn't human pray for it, why don't human sacrifice themself to get heaven instead of a horse. Ram asks why did he not oppose it. Jabali says I did not oppose it because no one listens to my opinion Only I can understand them. Lord does not exist or else Lord would have stopped this ritual and showed the right way to guide humans. Ram says if he blames Lord for everything, this is an insult for all human kind. He greets him and goes.
After few months, the horse is still running. Kaushalya senses Ram and says Ram... he comes to her and she asks him what is he seeing. He says he thinking when she gives bhog to the God thinking he eats it, but does he eat it? Why is this done according to you. To which she replies she says everyone can't see sun some can just see it's reflection in water, but sun is sun, everyone get the light, such is Lord's light, those who can't see Lord, they get satisfied seeing Lord in idol, idol is symbol of Lord. Ram says human beings are so strange, they find Lord in an idol, but not in a living being. She asks what is his worry. He says the horse who is running for one year for their prestige, and now he would be coming back after his yatra, he does not know that he will be sacrificed. She says this is the tradition.He asks can't we change this tradition, is this killing of a horse necessary. She asks how. He says they can make an idol of that horse.
She says things can't change. He says traditions are made to balance the society and humanity, if any rule is making them cruel, they must make it right and accept it. She says I don't know, will your father accept your proposal or not, what will be the result, but she assures that she is with him. Ram smiles. She asks him to take jewelry and make the horse's idol. He says idol can be made by soil too. She says we are Raghuvanshi, the horse who will return from his yatra, his contribution must be equated with gold. He says sure. Ram gives the jewellery to Laxman and asks him to take it to the fireplace.
The horse is shown still running. Shathanand tells Raja Janak that Ayodhya's horse is doing the yatra and it is possible that he will pass by Mithila too. Janak says we have to be ready to welcome the horse and Raja Dasharath's army. Shathanand asks by doing are they not going to support violence, animal killing and injustice, Ashwamedh is not right in their morals, would it be right to welcome them. Raja Janak says yes, it's not right, so they did not keep that tradition, but it does not mean that they should oppose others, they should support other's thinking, everyone has right to live life their way. He further adds that Ayodhya has helped them for 12 years of the famine. Shathanand apologizes and says he will do their welcome. Raja Janak says that he has heard a lot about Ram, this yagya is kept for him he wants to see whether he will rule on his Praja or on Praja's heart.
The horse is running in Magadh. Raja Dasharath says that their horse is the best, no one had stopped him, it means they have accepted Ayodhya's decision and now this horse is heading for Mithila, which is the last Rajya, and then he will come back to Ayodhya. Ram thinks someone must be there who sees the horse as a living being. Meanwhile Sita is walking in the fields. Ram thinks someone will have that goodness and sense... Sita holds the horse feeds and water and runs towards the horse. The minister asks who is she to come between and tells that she is inviting trouble. He asks her to move off the way. The horse stops before Sita. The minister and the army stop seeing this. Sita caresses the horse.

Ram makes the horse's gold idol and tells Raja Dasharath that this idol will be sacrificed. Kaikeyi says when one tradition can break, then other traditions can also break, now her son Bharat will become the heir.
