Siya Ke Ram Written Update - December 16, 2015

The fight continues between Ram, Lakshman and Rakshas.  The Rakshas use their magical powers and attack them.  One of the Rakshas becomes invisible and strangles Lakshman.  Ram finally wins over the other Rakshas and is about to kill him when the Rakshas turns into a bat and flies.  Seeing this, the other Rakshas also turns into bat and flies away.  Lakshman aims at them but Ram stops him.

In Ayodhya, the soldiers inform Dasharath of Ram and Lakshman's win over the Rakshas.  They speak about Ram having all the qualities of a good king and how he uses his talent in a defensive way and not to hurt others.  Ram and Lakshman also reach there.  Dasharath is proud of them.  He then asks Guru Vasisht's permission to conduct ashwamedha yajna as there have been incidents of such attacks over their country.  Guru Vasisht agrees.  Ram is pensive about it and Guru Vasisht observes it.  King Dasharath orders his men about the preparations of the yajna and hands over the duty of selecting the best horse to Ram.

Later, Ram is shown to be still in thinking mode.  Lakshman comes there and tells him he knows Ram is thinking about the ashwamedha yajna.  Ram agrees and says he is not supportive of the sacrifice of the horse at the end of yajna.

King Dasharath in his room is getting ready and asking his men about the preparations for the yajna.  They say everything is going perfect as Rani Kekeyi has taken over it and has doing it very good and faster.  Dasharath is surprised.  Kekeyi comes there.  All the other people leave.  Dasharath is a bit worried whether he will be able to do it everything properly and Kekeyi tells him he will and it is her duty to help him.  Dasharath misses Bharath and Shatrugna at this time and Kekeyi tells she has asked forgiveness many times.  Dasharath says circumstances do not change with repentance or no repentance and leaves from there.

Kekeyi is hurt.  Manthira comes there.  She scolds her for doing all the preparations for yajna and what is she going to get from it.  Kekeyi tells this after the fulfillment of yajna, Bharath will get a bigger kingdom.  Manthira reminds her Bharath is not the eldest son to be the heir and doubts whether King Dasharath would reconsider it.  Kekeyi says maybe not until now but when Bharath returns back from Kekeyi having acquired all the qualities needed to be a king, Dasharath might reconsider.  Manthira warns Kekeyi of her love for Ram and how will she overcome it.  Kekeyi gets emotional and says she is hurt by King Dasharath's behavior as he broke his promise to her father, the very basis of their marriage.  She would have forgiven him if Dasharath had accepted his inability to fulfill the vachan given to her father.  Instead, King Dasharath broke her trust and hurt her questioning her motherhood and she would not forgive him for that.  Whatever it is, it is the fight between her and King Dasharath and she had never ever thought of hurting Ram or would ever hurt him.

Ram is with a white horse chosen for the yajna and is still worried and thinking about it. Guru Vasisht comes there and asks him about his worry.  Ram tells him he is worried about the necessity of the horse being sacrificed at the end of the yajna.  Guru Vasisht advises him it is a ritual being followed for ages and sacrifice of the horse which is the symbol of power of the king represents sacrificing the ahankar of the king.  Guru also says to Ram not to oppose the rituals.  Ram asks him again whether there is a solution so that the yajna is also fulfilled and the horse can be saved without performing the sacrifice.

Precap:  The ashwamedha horse is set free to travel and soldiers follow it.  Ram is worried about the horse and hopes to see someone who has mercy on it and feed it.  Sita brings water towards the running horse.  Soldiers shout at her to move away.
