Sita and Urmila are finding their sisters in the jungle. Sita sees a deer and asks Urmila to follow.The scene shifts to Ram where he says that here is the ashram, Shanta Didi lives here. Ram asks Kaushalya to come and meet her but she stops and cries and says that she can't go to meet Shanta. She further adds that she have kept her away for these many years, she doen't have no courage to go there and meet her. Bharat says they will help her. Ram says no, asks Kaushalya to sit there as it will be tough for her to meet Shanta. Ram and his brothers proceed to the ashram.
Ram asks if anyone is there. Shanta comes out and the brothers smile and gets emotional seeing her. Shanta walks to the entrance of the ashram. Ram gets emotional seeing her. Shanta asks who are they. Ram asks for water. He says if he could get water for his mother as she is not able to come till here. Shanta says yes. She gets water pot and walks towards their mother to give water. She says Mata and Kaushalya turns around. Shanta gets shocked seeing her.The pot drops from her hand. They both get emotional and hug each other . Kaushalya says she knew that she would end her relations with them when she came to do the yagya. Shanta cries and says she did stop herself as she did not want to blame anyone. Kaushalya asks if she is fine. Shanta says she is very happy, Rishi gives me so much love and respect asks about Raja Dashratha. Kaushalya says he is managing the province, asks her whether she forgive them. Shanta says no she can't forgive Raja Dashratha because she was never angry with anyone. Ram and his brothers smile. Shanta asks why would she be angry as it was her decision. She further adds that it's every child's duty to do all possible things to keep their parents away from sorrow and if she would not have done this she would have not forgiven herself. And being a Rishi's wife she understood that desires are the reason of all sorrow she was trying to free herself from desires. Shanta turns and sees her brothers.
Again the scene shifts to Sita and Urmila who follow the deer and come to the cave. They see Mandvi and Shruthkirti and hug them. Sita asks why did they do this. Mandvi and Shruthkirti tells them that they don't want to go away from them. Sita says that she understand but this is not the solution and tells that they need to go back and make a last try, if they don't agree then we will respect their decision, we should not go against our parents. Sita takes them.
Kaushalya asks Shanta does she know them. Shanta sees Bharat and says Kaikeyi's son, good features like her. She says she will get colors for him as he makes beautiful paintings. Bharat hugs her. Laxman complains that she just knows about Bharat. Shanta says I know Laxman, and hugs him too. She says she knows about him as well. Shatrughan says this is not time to show our talent and calms him. Shanta talks to him and says she knows he is Shatrughan. Then she moves towards Ram. She sees Ram. Shanta says his smile will make the world forget their sorrows He is the one who can solve any problem, he can be just Ram. Ram hugs her. Kaushalya says they came here because of Ram he was the one who took the permission from Raja Dasharath. Shanta asks her brothers to promise that they will not let her sacrifice go waste, they will give all the happiness to their parents. They all promise her. Kaushalya asks Shanta where is her husband and will she not make her brothers meet him. Shanta says he is busy in Tapasya, it won't be possible to meet him. Laxman jokes will she send them without giving them food. Shanta smiles and asks them to come inside.
Again the scene shifts to Sita and her sisters where they come to palace and hear Raja Janak talking to Kushadwaj about going to Sankasya. Kushadwaj says he will bring that king here and once Raja Janak finalizes his punishment they will leave for Sankasya. Janak asks Kushadwaj and his wife to go, as Mandvi and Shruthkirti will live with them here. The girls get elated.
