Dashrath's sons rush to meet him. They all share a group hug. Dashrath utters that the queens would have felt very glad on seeing their performances. He grows faint on recalling the curse and Ram notices it. His brothers rush in for the gifts sent for them. Ram notices the wounds on his father's legs and attempts to heal it.
In Mithila, Sunaina asks the princesses about the three types of food. Sita replies that it's Satvik, rajasi and tamsik. Sunaina tells them that these types of food have an impact on our minds. The process of making food is an art and it's important to know the shastra to excel in a form of art. It pains when someone doesn't appreciate your art. She further says that it's her aim to give a healthy life to her family. Sita looks at the seeds and says that these are children of branches and fruits. Sunaina agrees. Sita and her sisters rush outside to sow the seeds.

Kaikayi asks him to talk to kaushalya. Dashrath grows sad and responds that she lingers on a single point and hurts him intentionally. Kaikayi advises him to talk to her about Ram. Dashrath stresses that only their sons can abridge the gap that exists between him and Kaushalya.
Ram gets strong visions of fire and flood. He beholds Lord Vishnu resting upon Sheshanaga and gets startled.
Kaikayi and Sumitra talk to Kaushalya. Kaushalya utters that she sacrificed her daughter for her sons, this makes them more precious. Sumitra explains that Dashratha knows her woes and that loss is his too. Kaushalya further expresses that she never fails to remember her daughter and always thinks whether she forgave her or not. Does Dashratha ever feel for his daughter? Sumitra asks her to convey her feelings to Dashratha. Kaikayi utters that they both have to try. The princes will return and they might notice the tension between them, and it's not the right time to know this.
Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan find Ram missing and rush to find him. Ram is shown meditating on stone.
