Abhijeet Bhattacharya does it again; provokes anger against Pakistan

Mumbai, Oct 11: Not more than three days have passed since Gazal maestro Ghulam Ali's concert was called off due to protest by Shiv Sena in Pune and Mumbai, and the controversial and insensitive comment by singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya had raged the anger of music lovers of India yet again. This time with his tweets that are so called answers to his previous tweets that were being thrashed and faced a severe criticism by the twitteraties. In the latest tweet, Bhattacharya has tried to make a satirical comment by saying that he has respect for Pakistan's patriotism and also said that Pakistan is ruling us. He made his comment more ugly by saying that let the Pakistani people kill us and we are with you. In his comment Bhattacharya wrote, "I respect Pakistan's patriotism Yes Pakistan is ruling us, Humko marte raho fir bhi hum aapke sath hain.. Since the time gazal maestro Ghulam Ali had been denied permission to perform in Maharashtra by Shiv Sena, the party had been facing the ire of artists. And joining the team prohibitory team with his tweets, Bhattacharya had made some serious rivals in Bollywood. Previously, Bhattacharya had commented that about the singer in an outrageous manner and called the eminent singer a Dengue Artist' from a Terrorist Country.' He did not stop at that and post commented on his reactions.

In the next tweet, Bhattacharya had said,"#GhulamGigCancelled kitni baar bhagaya bt these shameless hv no self respect no work except terrorism bt we feed them along wd prestitutes." In another tweet he had said, "These qawwals don't come here on their marit but due to paki Dalals #prestitute and@MaheshNBhatt ." Wondering what is going on in the singer mind these days. 

Reacting back to the irresponsible tweets, veteran actor and social activist Shabana Azmi has slammed Bhattacharya by tweeting, "R v at war with Pakistan? Hve v severed diplomatic relations?Hve v closd down our Embassies?Den what justification is dere 2 ban Ghulam Ali? Ghulam Ali was 2 perform in commemoration of Indias beloved Jasjit Singh in gesture of goodwill.Ok 2talk tough with Pak Govt not its artists. "

Soon after prohibiting Ghulam Ali for performing in Maharashtra on Octrober 9, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have invited the great artist to perform in their capital.
