Karan essayed the character of a Dil-Breaker in Star Plus episodic tele series Teri Meri Love Story. He was a millionaire business tycoon who didn't believe in love anymore after his love betrayed him with his best friend.
He owned a side business which encouraged couple break ups. However the things changed when he fell in love with a bubbly girl.
Karan returned to fiction after a long break with MTV Fannah. Karan portrayed the character of Vivaan. Vivaan was 18 years old school boy. The innocence and cuteness that reflected on his face, no one could doubt that this guy was not 18 for real. He had shed 8kgs in a month to make him fit for role.
MTV Fanaah returned with season second. This was for first time that any Indian Television series followed the season pattern. In this season Karan's character Vivaan has been transformed into vampire. He was shown as a doctor trying to figure out a cure for his vampirism and fighting with all the evils.

His First Bollywood Movie is Horror Story under Vikram Bhatt banner. It released on Friday the 13th (September). Karan was seen as Neil. It was story of 7 friends spending night in haunted hotel.
Currently Karan is working on two more Bollywood movies Rum Pum Posch and Dilphire.

When all the popular houses were trying to sign Karan for their shows, he decided to take the leap of faith n took a juvenile based crime show Gumrah aired on Channel V.
The show presented crime committed by young people. Karan Kundra was the face n voice of show. He set a trend with his friendly n relatable hosting.
Gumrah aired 3 seasons with Karan Kundra as host n all of them were super hit..while next 2 seasons which were not hosted by Karan couldn't match up the level of previous seasons.
He hosted Indian Television Academy Awards 2012 with Karan V Grover. His brilliant one liners and spontaneous comic acts ensured audiences were entertained throughout.
Later in the same year he hosted Star Plus's Diwali event along with Barun Sobti n Jennifer Winget. His dimpled smile just increased the sparks of Diwali.
In 2014 Karan hosted Life OK's Holi event with Bharti n Yo Yo Honey Singh. It was the most watched special event of that year.
Karan also appeared co-hosting the episode of MTV 's popular cyber crime show Webbed with Kritika Kamra.
Karan also hosted one episode of Splitsvilla 7 with Sunny Leone in the same year.

While exploring Nepal in Roadies with his gang members n other gang leaders Karan's love for travelling came into light.
After the rocking journey of Roadies ended Karan quickly took up the MTV's Travelling show HE Ticket.
Karan along with other three people was seen exploring real India in different parts of Jodhpur, Delhi, Mumbai, Lavasa, Dehradun, Mussorie and Hrishikesh.
Karan was seen doing many adventurous n bizarre sports such as Zip lining, Sand dune Bashing, skate boarding, water splashing, water rappelling, flying foxes.
Soon after He Ticket Karan travelled to Europe with other MTV VJ's exploring Prague, Budapest and Bratislava where he was seen taking city tour on Segway n Chopper.
From 20th October Karan will be seen in season 4 of Fox Life's Travel show Life Mein Ek Baar enjoying on streets of Hong Kong.
