Abusive husband?

I read somewhere that after the marriage of lajo and sunder ..sunderlal will be an abusive husband!😭

But I seriously cant imagine him to be that!!! He is so sweet and educated...and ge cares about lajo ! I know in just 10 episodes it's difficult to say that..but still I cant imagine him to be abusive with lajo! What do u people think?

The short story is quite different than the show. (Well actually I wouldn't say different, it is a short story where majority is on on Sunderlal and his perspective during the time Lajjo is missing, and ends with Lajjo's thoughts and perspective after she is back. The show is a drama serial and not a short story, and is still in pre-marriage period and is a full fledged complete drama.) The short story is quite sardonic. It is not so much a complete story but rather a take on society.

There it talks about how men beat their wives and women thought men who didn't beat their wives were not manly. There is no way it makes sense within this show for the same dynamic to be applied to Sunder and Lajjo. Especially after the fourth episode where they showed that woman getting beat and Lajjo's reaction.

Anyway, if you read the short story, you will see how differences as well as similarities within the characterizations.

This brings up something else that has been on my mind but never mentioned earlier because I think it may be possible for him to raise his hand (though even that seems very unlikely, and I hope not). But the character descriptions given on Zee Website seems taken more from the short story than the show's characterization. On one hand, I get that it is difficult to summarize and give a synopsis based on the show, and people are familiar with short story. But on the other hand... it may give a false impression of the show.

I hope thats the case that they dont show him as abusive husband! N continue to show us romantic nd cute moments between lajo nd sunder!!😆😛

I read the story and since beginning sundar is different the way he's on screen. I don't think ila will show abusive husband and she's also said she did changes in the novel.
