Asha Bhosle's son, Hemant Bhosle passed away this morning. He was suffering from cancer. The 66-year-old music composer was Asha's eldest child from her first marriage to Ganpatrao Bhosle. Following in his mother's footsteps, he had ventured into the world of music. Hemant composed music for films like Teri Meri Kahani (1981) and Shaadi Mubarak Ho among others. He even cut several albums with his mother and aunt Lata Mangeshkar. This tragic news comes 3 years after Asha's daughter Varsha's shocking death. She had shot herself on October 8, 2012 in her Peddar Road flat. Hemant is survived by his ex-wife Rama and a daughter who lives in London.
