Who in recent years can play Gulzaar's heroine

I am a huge fan of Gulzaar .No it is not because of Anupam kher show.Anyway which current actress can play Gulzaar heroine..

Tabu and vidya..others are too glamorized but kareena would be good sans make up or at least less make up.

Sonakshi, Vidya, Yami Gautam...i still remember Vidyas eloquently speaking eyes in Parineeta..and how beautifully well suited Sonakshi was in Lootera in that 19 40s ka setting. She just fitted right in. yami because she is an adequate actress and has that old world charm in her face.

Maybe Amrita Rao but she has disappeared😔

Tabu has already played Gulzaar's heroine

Apart from Vidya I also feel Yami is a good choice . Gulzaar's heroine's are usually strong women with feminine qualities .Yami and Kangana are good choices ,But Amrita is a delicate darling i doubt the strength of the character in Gulzaar's heroine will come across

I love all movies of Gulzar , they are not only diversified story wise but have that unique poetic touch which makes them stands apart...

LEKIN -- Dimple had that mysterious aura around her of a woman which was stuck between time and space (u can call it a ghost character too loosely, but it was way profound then that)..
I dont think so that any actress of today have that aura that dimple has, no one can do justice with this role which dimple essayed with utmost conviction.

KHUSHBOO -- simple story about the found-lost-found love...also deals with the egos of women involved... Vidya can play it well.

AANDHI -- political background, forgotten love story of an old couple... madhuri dixit or sridevi can do justice with this role.

PARICHAY -- I dont think so any actress of today has that simplicity or conviction of jaya bhaduri... she nailed this role of a sensitive girl, badi didi of many small kids... current actresses are way too bold, tough looking and plastic to essay this beautiful character.

MAUSAM -- Kangana can play this role of a prostitute very well who met with her father in her brothel.

KOSHISH -- Tabu can well play the role of a goongi behri woman that jaya bhaduri just essyed with perfeection.

MERA APNE -- Beautiful role of an old woman immortalized by great meena kumari..I cna see only Tabu can play it.

Well Saiyami kher already got the opportunity of playing one in ROM's Mirziya. Dunno how good or bad she'll turn out.
