TheFirst Impression

It is said that Learn to Expect the Unexpected. It's true in my case. Being associated with his website never I thought in my life I will get an opportunity to call and speak to the man himself. It wasn't just an opportunity but a memory to cherish, and never it will perish from my mind.

Back in mid-February last year I was assigned to make a call to Anas. I hesitated. "Talking to Anas, ohhh nooo" said my mind voice. But there was no other go.

After sending a short text to Anas, I decided to dial his number. My hand was literally shivering, feeling nervous.

His phone rang, but there was no answer. I tried again for the second time and finally I heard a reverberating "Hello"

I said, hello, Anas???

"Yes," was the reply.

"I am Vasanthi calling from Bangalore"

"Yes Vasanthi, tell me what can I do for you?"

I introduced myself. To make him "identify" me, I had to explain about the specific gift I sent for the New Year to him.

He immediately responded, "ohhh yes I remember, and I was so touched to see that gift,"

And to my surprise, he went on saying, "I am very sorry, you are elder to me and I called you by name, sorry,"

I was stunned and couldn't believe my ears. A famous TV star with so many fans following apologizing to someone who he didn't even know! It touched my heart.

Unable to speak much, I said, "You can call me maa as I have two Suraj like sons.

He laughed, it was the same hearty laugh we hear offscreen. And that was followed by a sweetest simple reply, "Sure maa"

The way he spoke, his manners and humbleness, the very first impression he created within me on that day melted my heart. Anas became my eldest son on that day.

The simple down to earth understanding human being a person who has answer for every solution on his own way, and analyse life to the deepest level,

an actor who always on the verge of searching for ideas for his better performance and

the thirst to learn all the technicalities of the industry and

sometimes the naughty lazy fun loving man with a hearty laugh

is the Anas I came to know about.

I'm proud of you son. Happy Birthday!!!!

And this was the card I sent him a year back which got the precious gift of my life. My Anas!!!

best of luck arti for ur exms..well guys,today's epi ws awsm..i'm tlkng abt RM scns obvio..wish sandhya had done for sooraj all tht in those 10yrs whch lalima is doin in js few weeks. today's epi update..meena plans wd mohit to make sooraj thrw lalima out by shwing SooMa's enggmnt pic..sooraj in his room,keeps sandhya's clothes inside his wardrobe & tells himslf tht he's full faith in lalima..meena goes to show the pic to sooraj whn lalima sntchs the pic frm hr hand & angrily drags hr dwnstrs n shouts at hr for STILL tryng to ruin sooraj's mental state..nd taunts evry1 for nt carng abt their house's eldest son..she thn infrm thm angrly abt doc's words..vedh sees all..meena stl goes 2 thrw hr out bt vedh stops hr & thrws meena's hnd away n tells tht if she thrws lalima,sooraj wl also leave the house..vedh leaves tearflly..THE END(for us)..
