Sanjana gets Ajay to eat the sweet dish. She tells him he looks funny whilst eating it. He wants her to sign the papers but she tells that she thinks she might have forgotten it at home. He insists that she signs same but she tells him that she won't leave him that easy. He gets angry and tells her that he hates her. She says even if he hates her at least she will still be in his life. Ajay angrily leaves in his car.
At the market, Elaichi and Shreya is purchasing vegetables. Shreya instigates Elaichi by saying that Trilok seems very happy when he goes to the shop. She says who are we to take away his happiness? Elaichi bumps into Sanjana. Sanjana seeks her blessings by touching her feet. She ask how all are. Elaichi responds that all are well and that they are happy like they once were. Elaichi says that her two bahus are there to take care of everything. She and Shreay leave from there. Sanjana vows to win their hearts.
Trilok and Elaichi are talking. He asks her where she is lost as she is deep in thought. She tells him its nothing and asks him how his day went. He tells her that he had a good day and greater days lies ahead. He tells her he has decided to retire. She gets worried and asks him why he decided to retire. He tells her that he would have thought that she would have been happy to hear this news. He says that children have all grown up so he thought to retire and spend more time with her. She says since when we keep secrets from each other. He asks what secrets. She tells him about the customer who didn't want to speak with Amar but with him. He is shocked and asks her if she is spying on him. She tells that she found out somehow. He says this is the very reason why he decided to retire. She counters and asks how he can make his decision based on this matter. He tells her that if he stays there then the customers will always want to speak to him. If he retires then the customers can speak to the boys. She tells to reconsider his retirement and the shop is his dream. He says he even decided that Amar would be the managing director. Shreya is eavesdropping on their conversation. Elaichi remembers what Shreya told her.
Shreya's mom is inspecting some jewelry when she gets Shreya's call. Sherya rants to her saying that she wanted Bhusan to be the Managing director but they are giving everything to Amar. She says they are giving an outsider everything. She says can't Bhusan handle matters? Mom tries to comfort her and tells to sleep on it and they will make a decision tomorrow about what needs to be done.
In the morning, Ajay informs Trilok that his website will be ready in the evening. Trilok says they will view it in the party and says that he has news for everyone. He tells them that they will be happy to hear this. He asks Bhusan to be sure to invite everyone. Ajay leaves. Daadi aks Tilok if he informed Elaichi. He says he told her about the retirement but not about the other thing. He says he will tell her together with the rest of the family. Daadi says what if Elaichi has objections. He says he will convince her.
