The heating will not destroy.. It will give new shapes n can be used for multiple purposes You can make weapons or useful things. By adding extra elements you can create new compounds.. Which may be harmful or useful.. We are not talking about others.. We are talking about if iron left without using for long time it can destroy itself.. Like if your brain has no work then you become mental.. No one else required to make you mad..
The potato is hard from the beginning not by leaving it for long time.. Can you survive if you put in boiled water.. You cannot take that stress.. Whereas potato take that stress and becomes useful for others..
