Ankit Bathla proposes in '2 States' style in Colors' Thapki Pyaar Ki

The dashing Ankit Bathla will propose his lady love Thapki (Jigyasa Singh) in filmy' style in Colors' popular show,Thapki Pyaar Ki!! And he will do exactly what Arjun Kapoor did in the movie 2 States, i.e. to gift a ring of proposal to not only his bride-to-be, but to her entire family as well.

Aah, how sweet!! 

Yes, that's exactly in store for viewers tonight... 

We hear that with Thapki refusing his offer and throwing in her resignation letter, Dhruv (Ankit Bathla) will be extremely disappointed, and will want to work out a plan to convince Thapki's family for their love, in order to make way into Thapki's heart. 

With an idea in mind, Dhruv will arrive at Thapki's house and will alarm everyone by telling that Thapki has in fact picked up one or the other trait from everyone in her family, and that he would want their approval first for their love story to begin.

A reliable source states, "The scene will be a very cute one where Dhruv will open up the five rings that he has bought, for every member in Thapki's family."

Viewers will be in for an emotional time when Dhruv will very earnestly put his feelings across to Thapki's family, and will assure them of taking care of their daughter all his life. 

We hear that Thapki's family will definitely melt with the sweet nature of Dhruv, and will accept him as Thapki's suitor. 

But the question will still remain whether Thapki will accept Dhruv's ring or not...

When contacted, Ankit Bathla told us, "Yes, I have seen the movie 2 States, and it was a very cute scene wherein the boy symbolically accepts the girl's family too. But I never knew that I will shoot for the same sequence for a TV show. And I was really excited to know that I will be performing the same. It's such a beautiful thought to have before marriage. I think whenever I meet my dream girl, I will gift the girl's parents with rings as well."
