She had another one that night, it was a MONDAY night! She tried Gates of Hell
It was..umm... strongg
She was slowly beginning to be unwinded, she chattered more... well chattered way more
About systems and bugs and coding.
Sam watched in awe without uttering a word
"Its 11 II, lets go" she gently helped her down her wobbly stool, it buckled sending II crashing
She regained her composure, the women laughed at themselves before someone else could
Sam paid because II couldnt get her wallet zipper undone
Tan had ordered them to take a driver and not do it themselves
"My head hurts Sam" she said softly crinkling her eyes as she stepped in
"I TOLD u not to have the 3rd and the 4th" Sam said
"2nd to aapne mangwaya" she argued
"Ekdum chup" Sam dragged her upstairs, Tan sat on the sofa, reading a paper, he chuckled
"WHAT about ur in laws?" II enquired
"Tumhe sar mein dard nahi hai?" Sam asked
"hai... AND I missed palak paneer" II reminded
"I will bring what vegetarian we have" Sam was worried
II held her belly "ayyo! I am never taking u up on ur offer for drinks, tum ek dum out of control ho"
II lay in one of Sam's many guest bedrooms and curled up and mumbled and complained
"Hey listen nimbu paani laoon?" Sam sat by her caressing her head
"I dont feel good... ur brother downs 6 pegs of whisky and acts like he just woke up, koi asar nahi hai" II complained
Sam laughed silently, her body shook
"He doesnt care about anything actually... his whole body landuage shows" II was beginning to slip
Sam stiffened, paying more attention
"Paris nahi gayi to meri galti, kisi ne kuch kaha to meri galti. thats why.." she stopped
"II, listen.. will u tell me"
"He made me walk miles in Venice, ek din bas shaam ko khilaya khaana, wealthy my ass" II grumbled
Sam laughed hysterically
R&B called Sam... "Are u guys home?"
Sam got off the bed
"Ya and she is on ur tail"
"Why?" he was bristling
"She drank too much" Sam informed
"WHY did u let her do that?" R&B was mad
"Arey she wanted to go out. And then refused to come home" Sam complained
"Is she bad?" R&B said
"Define bad... she keeps saying "Its all good its all goos... Sam u are the best. I like YOU a LOT" Sam chuckled
"Call the Doc" he said "Its not funny" he was furious
"Arey she is fine just talking more... i shud say LOTTT more" Sam said fondly
"Baat karo" she shoved the phone on II's chest
"I drank too much" II cried
"Why?" he demanded gruffly, overjoyed at hearing her voice, albeit a sozzled voice
"Teriyale da" she said innocently (I DONT KNOW)
They listened to each other's audible breathing
"I JUST ordered something Angel, and then she ordered fuzzy navel and then a fire, ur sister is BAD" II informed
"What were u celebrating?" he asked carefully
"KYA?" II asked confused
He realized she was not in any way shape or form sober to answer
"Go to bed" he said softly
She shut her eyes and let her phone slip "With who" she said
But by then Sam had grabbed the phone

She woke early next morning with a tiny head ache. Sam had given her some things at night to make her feel better
She left Sam's at 6 ish and went home, he called her once, she texted "I am OK now"
She went to Chandigarh on Thursday, she texted him from the Shatabdi, she spoke with the ticket agent and found herself a seat in a coach with many people
It was a morning train, and it was overflowing, but she constantly looked over her back for some reason
Appa dropped her off as Ranjan had a meeting with Industry Ministry
"Call as soon as u reach" Appa ordered grimly
"Appa I went to Blore first, US later, u were never so upset, whats wrong now?" Ii was reasonable
"Umm... chumma argue pannaade (dont argue with me) Appa admonished
"I am going to be fine." she reassured
"Periappa should come home tomorrow, I will keep u posted"
II nodded, smiling warmly
"Akka should keep her promise and stay put and not have the little one sooner"Appa smiled
"I KNOWWW, I ordered her not to do anything silly, I want to be in the room when she is in labor" II chuckled
"Jaakardaya poyittu va kanna" (please have a safe trip") Appa choked up
"Lock your room well at night, dont stay in office until late. Dont take a cab, dont wander for shopping"
"APPPAAA!! I am going to Chandigarh, not to the chaand" II laughed
Appa bought her magazines, soda, water, cokkies and candy
"Appa lunch vangi tarela?" she winked (please buy me lunch too)
"Railway canteen is by S7 u are in S 22" "Yes yes, nee velila varaade (u dont step out) "I will just hand it to u"
"Ayyo Pa.. I was kidding" II hugged him
"TAKE CARE TAKE CARE" Appa said firmly
II nodded... going in to sit down
Appa waved confused at reflecting dark windows unable to tell where she was. There were too many people at the door she couldnt fit herself into that mess
She felt a lump in her throat as she imagined him walking out and driving back to North Block for work
She cried softly
She opened her backpack and pulled her laptop out... his navy JCrew (she had packed) fell out...
