Ronnie proposes to Ananya, he says all the right things. He would like to live his whole life with her, he has been holding this secret close to his heart for a long time now, he could never tell her the truth all these days... Poor Ronnie...he walks into the rain and continues to say I Love U...I Love U...Ananya gets an umbrella comes out to where he was standing...dumbstruck. She just could not say anything. Ronnie understands... tells her it all happened so fast... She could take her time to revert back.
And they both leave.
Ananya reaches home and sits down for dinner. She recalls Kabir's dig on her weight and says she must stop eating too much. She tells her mother that Ronnie had proposed. Mother seemed happy but wanted to know why she was confused. Ronnie is a perfect match she said and he loved her too. Ananya admits that Ronnie was a good friend and nothing more. She did not love him like the way Ronnie did. Her mother advices to keep relationships simple. Ananya tells her mom however simple relationships were, life wasn't simple by any terms. And leaves the dining table.
Next day at KKN. Ananya and Richa are talking. Richa feels Ananya should have given her response to Ronnie. She tells her that Ronnie has been wanting to share this for ages now. She said everyone wanted her to be happy. He was the best guy for her. Ananya tells Richa that she was not in love with Ronnie. Ronnie was her best friend and she could not live a lie with him. Richa sounded upset and tells Ananya that she has to forget Kabir, as there was no future in the relationship. She reminded her that Kabir was a womanizer and he has himself admitted it.
Ananya walks across to her desk and finds a card and a rose. She feels sad about the whole thing. She wondered when and why things turned so complicated. She goes out in search of Ronnie and finds he was with Manav.
Ronnie goes to get some papers signed from Manav. Manav starts off some small talk on Kabir. He claims that he does not like Kabir insulting Ananya all the time. Ronnie was smart to retort that Kabir and Ananya would be able to handle issues if any between themselves, well. Manav tells Ronnie that he knew what the problem was. Ananya admired Kabir and in turn Kabir, true to his character was just taking Ananya for a ride, just what he does, always with juniors. He said he would hate to see Ananya hurt...and this worried Ronnie too. He requests for the signed papers and leaves the room.
Manav is determined that he needs to get Ronnie on his side. Once done Malvika would relent and Khalid would probably introspect.
Ananya tries to send a text message to Kabir. She is unsure what to write and gives up. Sunny comes over and tells her he was getting bored. In comes Rohan and tells them that there were two people in KKN who were on fire. Manav, he wants Kabir out of the office and the other Malvika who wants him in her life. Ananya shrugs and asks Rohan what this has got to do with her. Rohan says everyone at office thinks Malvika is jealous of Ananya and that was the reason for her spitting venom at everyone.
Ananya flares up and stomps to Malvika's room to check out with her.

In Malvika's office she was talking to her Dad inquiring about Kabir and his health. She was happy that Kabir was fine. She disconnects and turns to find Ananya in the room. She gets livid. Ananya get right to the point, looks Malvika in her eye and asks her what the problem was and why she was treating her like dirt. And then goes on the long monolog from Malvika of how she is all wrong about Kabir. Kabir always befriends his juniors and dumps them when he gets bored...blah...blah...She wants to know the truth and goads Ananya to tell her what her relationship with Kabir was. Ananya blows her top at this. She says she did not find it important to explain her relationships with anyone, she was paid for reporting and she does her job with finesse. To rub it on she says her good work also gets the channel good ratings. Lol...go Ananya gooo...👏
Malvika did not know what hit her. She decides to teach Ananya a lesson by getting Kabir on her side.
Really woman is that the way you out smart a smart reporter.😲
Now the sad sad part.
Ananya finally finds Ronnie who is all pepped up thinking about her response. But alas Ananya had to tell Ronnie that he was her best friend and that they should keep the relationship at that.

She tries to explain, that their friendship was very important to her and that she would hate to have anything come in between.
She says she loves him but not in the same manner and he did. Ronnie comes to the point and asks her if she was in love with Kabir. She just looks on. He takes her silence as acceptance and thanks her. Ronnie is all in tears and gives her a piece of his mind. He says the whole office knows what kind of a person Kabir is and as a best friend he would not like her getting hurt, ever.
Wish Ronnie was not such a cry baby.
