I know old episodes are past, and it's the present that matters. BUT, if our past is beautiful unlike our present which is horrible, and we get to live our past we would rather live in it than living in the unpleasant present.
Anyway, coming to the topic, as we all have always seen how much Ranveer loves Ishani, and how much everything related to her affects him. Today's episode had quite little of Ranveer (yes, I wasn't too fond of Ishani back then although I loved her, so no mention of Ishveer :)) but the parts he was in, it was him only. Those who're watching the show know it was about Chirag and his family coming to the Parekhs for Chirag and Ishani's rishta, and thanks to Baa for her wickedness who ends up creating a scene bringing 'Ishani-is-illegitimate' matter into focus. We saw how badly Ishani is hurt, how much Harshad panics, but there was someone who silently listens to the whole conversation and walks out of the place without making any judgement about the situation-- Ranveer. You could see through his expressions how bad he felt when people talked about Ishani being an illegitimate child of her mom. It was like he was helpless but wanted to protect her from the pangs of the torture and expectations of the society. Along with that, he had another thing to deal with and that was his own tragedy-- to make Ishani agree to marry Chirag. The pensive feeling, the underlying sadness is so explicit there. I never knew the dialogs could affect me the way they did months back. When Ranveer told Chirag "Us'se itna pyar kiya ki use hi kho diya," it felt so real, genuine and painful. He really loved her too much to let her go... </3
