shagun's plan doesn't make sense

so i don't understand shagun trying to get both kids to australia and letting ashok destroy raman.  how will she take care of herself and the kids without the money? as per their plan raman would be destroyed and she rebuffed ashok today.  surely she's not thinking that mihir would support her afterwards?!
