I just got this idea today so thought of writing a SS...

Destined to Meet
Prologue
He stood by the door and watched his wife fighting between life and death.
He had seen her being diagnosed for CANCER but never had he seen her crying so badly. The pain that she went through was something that can never be felt by him.
The pain of losing her dear hubby, the pain of going away from her house that had so many memories of theirs, the pain of breaking the promise of always staying by his side and at last the pain of death.
He could not see her like this. He went away and sat on the chair nearby waiting for the doc to come out.
His hands were shivering. His eyes had turned red due to the sleepless nights. He was sobbing.
"Sorry. Mr.Malhotra, we can't save her" was all that the doc said who just came out of the room.
Manik stood up hearing those words. This was not that something unexpected. He knew she will leave him. He knew she would die. But he still expected a miracle to happen.
"She wants to meet you" the doc said patting Manik's shoulders.
He slowly made his way inside the room. He stood by her side and dared not to look into her eyes.
Then she suddenly held his hand and makes him see her. He saw her face which had no beauty left now.
She had lost her knee-length hairs. She had wrinkles all over her face. Her face was pale now.
But that charm in her eyes for which he had fell 3 year ago was still not lost.
The silence in the room broke with her shivery voice.
"Manik sorry" she said.
He was still mad at her. He looked straight into her eyes without a word.
"Manik, I am sorry. I know I should have informed you about this earlier. But I never wanted to see you cry."
He cupped her face. His anger was vanished. He kissed her forehead and rested his heard on hers.
He felt her hot breathe of his face.
He wanted this time to stand still.
He wanted her by his side.
He wanted to go to all his concerts in hand in hand with her.
His wishes were never gonna end...
But they could not be fulfilled.
He suddenly found no hot air on his face.
He lifted his head and saw her still smiling.. her eyes still glistening.
He smiled at his fate and slowly closed her eyes.
