Gopi spent her childhood in the chawl with Urmila & Rashi. It is her house. Why should Ahem stop her from staying in her house with Kokila?And who is he to do that? Urmila has been more acomodative than Kokila. She kept her for 10 years but Kokila never let Urmi to stay in MB for long.

And more than Ahem, it is Meera who comes in Gopi's way. Meera is worse than her dad except that she is not rude to Kokila.

Ahem is a fatted fellow. It won't make any difference to Urmi whether Gopi stays or not but Kokila is afraid that Ahem might go back to Mumbai if Gopi stays.
