RV's character

Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, starring Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan, is a romance drama on Colours. The story revolves around Ranveer and Ishaani, the lead characters, where Ranveer is obligated to play match maker between Ishaani and a guy her father chose for her. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? We thought so too.

Shakti Arora's charater seems to have a lot of resemblance to Arjun, aka Shah Rukh Khan, from the 1997 Bollywood blockbuster Pardes. "Well it could be the case, but it is not only Pardes. It could also be Kal Ho Na Ho and Rajesh Khanna's character in Anand, because I play someone who laughs at life's adversities", said Shakti on the matter.
