Kapil Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar to host Filmfare Awards this year!

The awards night will certainly be a fun ride!

We just heard that Kapil Sharma and Karan Johar have been roped in to host the 60th Filmfare Awards this year.

It will be super exciting to watch the ace filmmaker and the ac comedian share the podium considering both have their humour and wit par excellence. What would also be interesting to watch is that Kapil and Karan both have different kind sof humour; Kapil has more of slapstick and low-brow comic sense while Karan has a high-brow humour. A combination of the two is sure to set fire on stage!

Alia Bhatt will also be hosting a separate segment on the awards night. This is the first time Alia will take to hosting as she has only performed at award shows before. Whether or not she will do a good job at it is yet to be seen.

Kapil tweeted a picture of him, Karan and Alia having breakfast together, "Pranthas in lunch .. Any guess Whr v r ? @karanjohar @aliaa08 pic.twitter.com/PfkS13cmRO," he said. The three probably met over a briefing regarding hosting the show.

How excited are you to watch the trio host an award function?

Hopefully it will be better than some award show this year where she made a self deprecating joke about congratulating PC on Mary kom's medal. Move on the jokes aren't as funny now.

Kapil Sharma is as it is so annoying. KJo will make some gays jokes. Damn its gonna suck. Hope it goes better than what I am expecting.

Hope its better than last year! Last year was so bland...

Does this mean Alia has chance of winning?? Hope NOT! She doesn't deserve this year :(

Have they ever done this before? Have one person only host a part of the show? I feel like the show always has two hosts the whole time. This sounds like Karan and Kapil are the hosts. Alia will just be a guest host. I was kind of hoping Ranveer Singh would host it with whomever lol.

But yea the dumb jokes are getting old and based on some of the reactions Alia has been having lately its pretty evident it's at the very least annoying her.
