Tutorial#8
How To Get A Lightening Border

Step 1
Open your Document (Picture)

Step 2

Add a new Layer. 'Have the new layer clicked'.

Step 3
Select the 'Reqtangular Marquee Tool' and select the part which you want to have the border.

Step 4
After that DON'T click to 'Image' ---> 'Adjustements' ---> 'Solid Color'!
You have to click to the circle on the bottom of the layers. (I will post a picture soon) that's the adjustements for the layers.. if you click to the adjustements on top then it will work for the whole document and not the selected one. So, again.
Select the circle button on the bottom of the layers and click to solid color.
Add a color which you like to. If you want to have it lighter then select White or any light color. but if you like to have it dark then select black or any dark color. Then click to OK.

Click to this one which is marked red in the pic below.

Step 5
'Have that layer clicked on which you have added the color'. Select 'Lighten' or 'Overlay' which is on top of the layers.

That's it.
Hope you understood it. If you have any queries then, please post your problem here.
I would love to help you. :)

I am open for any Requests. :)
