PK.
OMG just scratched the surface while PK took the concept to another level.

These were the only two on this subject, actually the only two brave enough to release films on this subject, so they are being compared. I picked PK because of the overall film in the way it was presented, but to be honest both films have an excellent message.

If we are speaking of fun and humour aspect its PK (I was in splits during the entire first half) but concept wise OMG was much riskier and bolder as compared to PK.

The protagonist of OMG didn't have a child-like personality, he was a not-so-innocent atheist with many experiences of world and society in his kitty, he himself sold Idols of God for living yet chose to not believe in them as such. Even his family couldn't digest or comprehend his audacity to file a case against God, the creator himself.

Also, the Godmen were much more manipulative and hard-hitting than in PK. Eventually they made people believe that Paresh himself is an incarnation of Vishnu. As Akshay in the movie said, "If you snatch their idols, they'll make you their God". Now, one might agree or strongly disagree to such a line.
Its sharp and controversial.

Meanwhile PK was much softer and hardly had anything you might disagree with. And the screenplay of OMG was much tighter. Also the fact that I watched OMG first makes me feel this way. 😛

I think I might be in the minority here. 😆

I think they sorta deal with two different subjects even if they seem same. OMG deals more with Godsmen of India, while PK deals with religion in general. They sorta brought in the angle of Godsmen in PK but their main subject was all along religion being man made that creates division and friction.

OMG definitely had better gripping script than PK. PK's second half went flat on me.

if we look at the questions raised ..OMG is better..sincere straightforward questioning..
but PK was better in execution..more subtle ways and comic relief..

and the difference..OMG questions the existence of God, while he was present throughout the movie.

PK questions the differentiation by religion..it talks abt God as one power behind our existence

PK it had a more clear concept that went deeper to the topic. OMG dealt with the court case paresh rawal's character fought against God. PK showed more points it didnt preach the courtroom scenes in OMG near climax was very preachy by paresh.

Wait... So PK's plot or rather the theme is similar to OMG? I did not know that. Since I loved OMG, I hope PK does not disappoint me. I'm excited to watch it even more now
Tanya, I'll share my 2 cents after I watch PK tonight

Can't agree more..omg though a great movie but PK touched almost all levels of the subject and not just fraud babas unlike in omg... also as a whole package PK is one notch above.
