Sonakshi S is planning To Quit Acting

Sonakshi Sinha, who is going through a successful career ride with films like Rowdy Rathore' (2012), Lootera' (2013) and the most recent Holiday' (2014) in her pocket, has stated that being in front of the camera was not her wish and she'll probably leave doing so.
According to IANS, Sinha said that acting was never her first choice for a career. Despite having a filmy background, the actress never wished to be an actor. Instead, if something more interesting and happening comes in her life in the future, she'll probably leave acting.
Sinha, who is on a break these days, will soon tighten her shoes for the promotion of her upcoming mega-budget movies- Lingaa', Action Jackson' and Tevar'. Lingaa' stars the legend Rajinikanth, while Ajay Devgn and Arjun Kapoor will be sharing the screen alongside her in the rest of the films, respectively.

This is what I hate about star kids. They rub how easy it was to just walk in to the world of stardom. No struggling, no worries, unlike many hopefuls that give up everything for a chance at Bollywood. Doesn't she realize many would kill to have the chances she got? I'm sure there are more talented, more beautiful, more deserving potential actresses who just don't have the connection or money to get ahead. I really think bollywood should start giving the same chance to debutantes, regardless of who they are related to. Hold an audition for every role. Of course even then, the likes of KJO will always pick a star-kid. He admitted that during SOTY audition, the Bhaat tag excited him and made KJO gravitate towards Alia even though there were many much more deserving candidates. Star kids can just "stumble" in the world of bollywood by accident.

If this is true, then that is sad. I was hoping she would do some meaningful work to balance her commercial masala work. I don't care that she does a bunch of movies at a time since an actress's shelf life in this industry is very short and they usually have to make the most of what they have or can get. I was just really hopeful about her talent but after waiting almost a year, I don't think it's going to happen. Nothing that's coming from her recently seems promising.
