5 Crucial Things that Jodha Akbar Serial Missed Before Showing Salim As a 8 Year Old Boy!

Jodha Akbar serial is a good historical fiction which we love to watch. We know the fact that there are "n" number of distortions, still we stick to it because of the excellent entertainment it offer us. No wonder, we get to see the superb acting skills of Rajat Tokas, Paridhi Sharma and all the other brilliant actors.
However, at times when the serial disobeys the timeline and choose to ignore certain crucial facts which we eagerly anticipate, it disappoint us tremendously. Below are some significant historical happenings which Jodha Akbar royally missed before turning the infant Salim into a 8 year old boy:
Basic Fact: Salim was born in the year 1569. So, if he is 8 years old, It is year 1577.
What is Akbar doing in Agra, Shouldn't He Be in Fatehpur Sikri Now?
Mughal Emperor Akbar founded Fatehpur Sikri in the year 1569, the same year Salim was born. 2 years later, he not only shifted his base from Agra to Fatehpur, but also made it his capital. Fatehpur remained Akbar's capital till 1585. However, the serial without any hesitation showed Salim growing up in the Agra palace. Worst, they didn't even mention anything about the legendary city of Fatehpur Sikri. Wasn't Akbar err Madam Ekta supposed to talk, show and shift to a new palace in Fatehpur Sikri?
The Great Revolt of Mirza Hakim against Akbar in 1564
Mirza Hakim revolted against his brother in the year 1564, the same year the twins Hassan and Hussein were born. This incident has historical significance as Mirza accused his brother of favoring the Hindus over Moslems. But, Akbar not just defeated him and his associates including the maulvis, but also controlled the situation cleverly. However, forget the revolt of Mirza Hakim, the show did not even talk about him. Instead, we had a bhaiya-bhabhi giving poison to the newborn babies of Akbar.
Murad Was Born in Fatehpur Sikri
Murad, the son of Akbar and Salima Begum was born a year later in the house of Salim Sheikh Chisti in Fathahbad that is Fatehpur. However, we were directly shown Murad as a notorious kiddo who was trying to hit a pigeon, which later is saved by his elder brother Salim. Though the year gap between the brother is only 1 year, the two brothers in the serial appeared with gap more than one year.
Daniyal Was Born To Jodha aka Mariam Uz Zamani in 1572
After Jodha gave birth to Salim in 1569, she gave birth to Daniyal 3 years later. The mother of Daniyal is controversial because some believe Daniyal was born to a cocubine. However, since Daniyal was brought up in Amer by Raja Bharmal and his wife, it is assumed the mother of Daniyal was Jodha aka Mariam-uz-Zamani. I wonder, why the serial missed showing us the birth of Daniyal, and directly showed us Salim as 8 year old boy. We wanted to see the birth of Daniyal as well, didn't we?
The Famous Battle of Haldighati?
Does Zee TV Jodha Akbar expect us to depend on Sony TV Maharana Pratap to watch the famous Battle of Haldighati? Why O Why, we were not shown the legendary battle on screen, the only event which we are so familiar about.We all are well versed that the legendary battle was fought between the army of Akbar and Maharana Pratap in 1576. But, now that, the serial has taken a jump into 1577, does it mean we will not be able to experience the siege? Or will it be shown later, mis-matching the historic timeline once again?
