Hello Everyone, I am here with my First FF on this forum and my first Vidarth FF. I started watching SH only because of Randhir, but slowly and gradually started liking Vidushi . I always had this story in mind but could not develop the characters properly. But when I saw Vidarth together, I instantly knew I had to pen down my story.
I would like to dedicate this FF to Ash (Burn_the_Ashes) for making me fall in love with Vidarth over and over again with her wonderful OS's and Chandni (Moony87) , my first friend on IF. 🤗

Synopsis : She was a lonely soul lost in a crowd .
He was a wanderer, searching for his destination.
Together,they would find each other!
~ The Caged Bird Flies ~
She lay in the warmth of the cocoon
The eerie silence soothed her soul
Clangor of awakening made a deafening sound
She stirred and knew it was time.
Her dreary eyes foraged for the light
Her body beat with surreal rhythm
She wanted to break out
Soar into the sky
To the flight of freedom
She gingerly stepped out
Took a giant leap of faith
She slipped and fell
She was falling
Falling deep into the abyss
His hand stretched out of nowhere
He pulled her weightless body
and planted her feet firmly onto the ground
He helped her spread her wings
He let the Caged bird fly!

~Prologue ~
"What is the purpose of their life," she mulled over the boon of their existence.
"I
haven't changed all these years ,10 yrs and I am still the same,"she
smiled at this juvenile thought.A part of her conscious mind had already
tripped and rolled down memory lane. The lane halted at the
doorstep of a coy 12 year old who was beaming at the wiggly little
thingies,swimming happily in a big tank that adorned her side
wall.Barely able to contain her excitement ,she blurted out "Ok, done ,
I'll call him Bluey " and chirped with glee. She had just baptized her
new fish , not all ,just the one sulking in the corner.
"Why don't you name the others? And why Bluey?"her Mom inquired.
"You
can name the other ones Ma,and Bluey ,coz its blue in color!" she
replied and broke out into a wide toothed grin.
From then on, she was always at Bluey's beck and call. One fine day when she was mouthing sweet nothings to Bluey, she asked all of a sudden, "Ma,what is Bluey's purpose in life?"
Her Mom just rolled her eyes and muttered"Kids, say the darnest things these days" and left the innocent child wondering about the fish's goal in life.
She looked at Bluey and assured him, "One day, I shall know my love!".
The very next day, she found Bluey's limp body floating about in the tank. "Why is Bluey not moving,Ma?" the lil kid inquired with a quivering voice.Everyone's silent demeanor made her realise the gravity of the situation, he had passed onto to another world!
"I know the answer now ,Bluey,"she spoke, snapping out from her reverie.
"I know now,my love, you were nothing but a physical entity whose life was trapped in a cage and one fine day your soul left the body!
She knew the answer as she was feeling exactly the same.
Trapped inside a physical form ,aching to break out! Her eyes then shifted from the present to her immediate future, to the glittering piece of paper in her hands. She read it out aloud,

inherited the art of irritation from someone," Parth retorted calmly,
while he gingerly opened his eyes.He was never affected by Randhir's
histrionics , but today, was an anomaly.
"Does your
mediation really block out external voices ? Or you trying to shut me
off!
Come on Parth, "Bhai" called again. We need to get going or else he is gonna skin us alive. I don't wanna get into trouble just 'coz my dear friend decided to hang his arse upside down like a bat!

called Shirshasana, and for the last time, can you be a bit respectful
towards this art.It's not that easy you see!" Parth snapped at RD who
just shot him the "I dont give a damn" look.
"Ok Earthling, now back to work,Bhai has given us this address , we need to whisk away the "item" tonite." RD spoke in a hushed monotone.
"Item? please don't use such derogatory terms," Parth replied,now clearly irritated.

give a tiny rat's arse about that! Now come on , move it Parth, " RD
spoke in a commanding voice and shoved a piece of paper in Parth's
hands,
"The address of the bird to be whisked away," RD instructed Parth.
