Lavanya tries to assure Kushan that he'll get a new job soon as she has plenty of contacts who can help him out. Kushan taunts her for being the root cause of all his problems and says that it is all her fault that Prateek fired him from the tower project. Before Lavanya replies, Kushan humiliates her further by splashing liquor onto her face in a fit of rage. Bobby & Meghan silently watch their parents arguing.
At the Swaika house, Amrita transfers funds for orphaned children.
Lavanya comes there, yelling & looking for Prateek. Amrita enquires why she's so upset. She replies that Kushan was expelled from the tower project. Sonali & Amrita are shocked to learn this. Lavanya accuses Amrita for taking Bobby & Meghan away from her, while Prateek is increasing her troubles by insulting Kushan. Lavanya curses Amrita that all her relationships will remain unfulfilled & her home will become desolate. Amrita is shocked by Lavanya's accusations. She tells Lavanya that she herself is responsible for what is happening to her and her ill-wishing won't work as God, and not humans, is responsible for her fate. Prateek comes in & enquires why Lavanya is yelling. Lavanya shouts at him and asks how he could fire Kushan like that. Prateek refuses to listen to her, and instead, tells her to talk to him in office tomorrow as he doesn't like to discuss business at home. He goes away while Lavanya continues to yell.
Amrita follows Prateek to the bedroom and confronts him on why he's troubling Lavanya like that. Prateek tells her to stay out of it as he doesn't like to consider emotional connections while taking his business decisions. He tells her that Kushan's lobby designs were not up to the mark & that's why he was fired and it was the Board's decision. Amrita replies that Kushan has successfully completed the Company's previous projects then how can he suddenly be labelled incompetent. Prateek tells her to run her house instead of questioning him about his business. Saniya comes in & asks him to take her out for ice cream.
Bobby & Meghan are playing a board game when Vivaan arrives & apologizes to them for his unruly behavior & disrespecting the relationship that they all share. Bobby & Meghan forgive him.
Prateek takes Saniya to a restaurant for ice cream. He tries to sway her into thinking that Amrita is ignoring her as she didn't accompany them to the restaurant. He says that her mother has changed as she doesn't take her out for shopping & doesn't spend time with her anymore. Saniya disagrees with him. Prateek asks her if Amrita & him were to live in separate houses, who would she go to. Saniya naively replies that she'll live with her mother.
At the abandoned building, the goon gives food to Trisha & unties the rope around her wrists. He receives a phonecall from a friend & refuses to give him details about his whereabouts saying that he's caught a big fish this time around. He ends the call & tells Trisha to eat. He turns to go out. Trisha notices he's left his phone on the table next to her. She grabs it & dials a number but quickly ends the call and keeps the phone back on the table as the goon comes to take his phone away.
Sonali calls Lavanya & tries to sympathize with her. She asks Lavanya to do something before Prateek can further humiliate her & Gaurav. Kushan comes back home & politely asks her to serve dinner. She's surprised with his cool attitude and asks him how he can behave normally all of a sudden. Kushan replies that he's looking at things with a new perspective & has decided not to punish himself for something that was not his fault. He reminds her that he's neither forgiven nor forgotten what Prateek & her did to him.
In the evening, Saniya tells Amrita that Prateek asked her about them living separately & who would she prefer to live with. Amrita thinks how Prateek has stooped too low as he's now trying to influence Saniya against her own mother.
At the police office, Kabir yells at Abhay for not following leads efficienly & failing to get information about Ansari (from Dubai). Kadam reports that the goon (from Dharavi), Rakesh Pandey, used to work for Prateek but quit and worked as Prem's driver later on. Kabir receives a phone call & is shocked to learn about some new information about Prateek.
The next day, during breakfast, Amrita enquires Prateek on why he tried to influence Saniya. Prateek yells at her & says that he wants their kids to stay with him in case their marriage ends as he's the only one who is capable of providing them with a safe & secured future. Sonali overhears them arguing.
Precap: Kabir questions Prateek about the Debit card he used at the restaurant. He says that it is the same Debit card which Trisha used to get money from ATM after she disappeared.
