Recap - Nausheen is surprised to see her childhood friend Alvira at the beauty contest. Sahir-Arzo miss seeing each other as they are busy staring at the moon. Alvira announces Rohini as winner of best dress and offers Arzo a job in Mumbai. All are excited and Arzo agrees. Meanwhile Sahir reaches the factory and watches as it is destroyed in a blast.
Part 1
Zara counts the zeroes on the cheque given to Arzo by Alvira and says seriously Rs.50,000 for real. Myra says ofcourse, they are from Mumbai..genuinely well to do. Zara talks of getting her portfolio done with the money. Myra says no..want my computer. Dadi says ..want new LCD TV. They discuss of selling off old TV and buy new TV. All are fighting when Nausheen (Ammi) comes and says ..Arzo got the money let her decide how to spend it. Arzo says.. 'Yeh ghar bhi farmaish kar raha hai.. pehle uski farmaish puri hogi fir gharwalon ki'. She talks of repairing the ceiling of the house. Arzo notices Dadi-Nausheen a bit serious and says not all get the chance to work in Saiyara Brand. Dadi says.. a bit worried as things are going too easily. Nausheen reassures her and asks to have breakfast. All praise Nausheen's cooking skills. Just as Arzo is about to feed Nausheen, a neighbor comes and informs them that factory has been destroyed in fire due to accident. Nausheen is in shock and breaks down. She rues.. this job was the last hope. .now thats lost too. She almost collapses and Arzo holds her.
Sahir is reading the newspaper and says Adab to his mom. Tabassum praises Alvira about how despite her leaving Lucknow long ago, she has not left Lucknow at all. She brags how her daughter Samaira is the same. She says that Samaira is in Mumbai since 2 years and her dad wants to get her married in Mumbai but i Tabassum want her to get married in Lucknow. She alerts Alvira about girls wanting to marry Sahir and asks Alvira to be careful that whichever girl she choses.. she should have Lucknow ki tehzeeb and taur-tarike.
Arzo is sad and remembers Nausheens tears. Nausheen is crying. Arzo tells her to she has sworn ..wont let Nausheen cry. She says.. will go to Mumbai and work. She says ..once i get set there ..will call u to Mumbai. Zara asks her to buy her house near Salman Khans house as he comes topless in the balcony. Dadi chides her for saying such things.Asharfi repeats the word .. 'topless'.
Alvira calls up Nausheen. She invites Nausheen and her family for lunch. She asks Nausheen to tell Arzo to sms the address so she will send car to pick them up.Nausheen rues that heard such a bad news today.. dun wanna go anywhere. Dadi cheers her and says.. happiness and sadness are two constants.Alvira is ur childhood friend.. and is taking Arzo with her to Mumbai ..dont refuse. Arzo asks Nausheen to proceed with Zara, Myra, Dadi and she will join them shortly. Dadi praises her mom in law for being always cheerful and that her final journey was one filled with smiles too.
Zara and all arrive at Sahirs house. Dadi slams the car door loudly and Zara tells her that the car is so costly, Dadi should handle it with care. Dadi brags about how her mom in law was very well to do but she gave away all her property to her daughters else she too had a lot of grandeur. Myra gapes at the huge mansion and Zara tells her to be cool so it doesnt look awkward.
Alvira greets Nausheen and Zara-Myra greet Alvira. Alvira introes Nausheen to Tabassum. Tabassum self thought.. saw a rich boy and here to trap him. Alvira asks about Arzo. She notices Nausheen is sad and asks the matter. Myra shares about the accident & blast at the factory. Sahir overhears and stops in his tracks. Dadi says someone did this on purpose. Sh swears not to spare the guilty and curses him. Sahir excuses himself and Alvira asks when he will be back and he says dont know. Zara & Myra drool on Sahir calling him super hot.
Arzo reaches the mansion and is on her way to enter the mansion and Sahir is talking on moby. Sahir and Arzo bump into each other but Sahir simply walks off without noticing. The gifts Arzo had bought breaks and Arzo cribs ..what a rude guy, broke my gifts and did not even stop to apologize.
Arzo enters the mansion and Myra greets her and brags about Sahir. Zara stops her. Alvira greets Arzo. Tabassum cribs ..so she is the one trying to trap Alvira. Arzo gives the gifts to Alvira except for the one broken.Alvira informs Arzo about her flight tickets to Mumbai the very next day and Zara-Myra cheer. Alvira asks the matter and Arzo explains that they are excited as their sister is going to fly in plane for the first time. Alvira appreciates how simply Arzo explained the matter. She praises Nausheen's upbringing. Nausheen tells Alvira that she is grateful to her for giving Arzo this oppurtunity but also shares that Arzo has never been away from her before. Alvira reassures her and says that Nausheen has no idea what all dreams Alvira has seen for Arzo.
Zara- Myra request Arzo to agree to go for Gunjing before she leaves for Mumbai. Arzo agrees. Show the three sisters visit Lucknow city.. eat.. drink cold drinks and make merry. BG - Masakalli
Part 2
Its late in the night and all three sisters are lying on the terrace staring at the moon. Myra asks Arzo.. you are gonna leave for real tomorrow. Arzo says. .have to. Zara tells Arzo that she got the job she wanted, then why is she not happy. Arzo says i will be happy when i can call you all to Mumbai. I wont be happy without you all. Myra and Zara hug Arzo. They are all in tears.
Zara tells Arzo that her soon-to-be boss is so hot, that once she sees him. ..she will be lost. Myra agrees. Arzo chides them for teasing her. Zara says let us tease you ..ur leaving tomorrow.
Zara then says if the clouds on the moon move away then we will go to Mumbai too. Arzo says.. based on the minutes, if it moves.. yes you all will come. She counts to 1 minute. All three sisters look at the moon. Zara is worried as to how cloud will move in 1 minute. Arzo says.. Allah knows.. aaj tak chand ne humesha hume khushi di hai.. aaj bhi dega. The clouds move and all three rejoice. The neighbors shout on them for making noise and not letting them sleep. Zara- Myra - Arzo burst out laughing.
Part 3
Dadi stares at the airport and thanks Arzo for the chance to visit it coz of her. She tells Arzo that Mumbai is a big city where a drop of water gets lost but my Arzo wont lose her identity. She will still be who she is. She tries not to cry but is teary eyed. She says.. I will pray to Allah that my child is always safe in that big city while living between strangers. Arzo hugs Dadi. They both cry. Zara is recording the whole thing. Arzo asks Dadi to take care of Nausheen, not whistle, not to fight with Asharfi (the parrot). Nausheen is sitting in the car. Arzo comes to her and opens the door of the car and leads her outside the car. Zara says.. now watch the Filmy moment of Shaikh Family. She says Nausheen Shaikh is crying while seeing off her daughter and Myra too cant stop crying. Dadi whistles and says.. TEAM HUDDLE like our Team India does. All make a huddle and scream .. HAPPY JOURNEY. Bg- Whistle tune. Sahir arrives at the airport and stares at them and then walks off.
Arzo hugs everyone one last time and is about to enter the airport but stops. She turns and looks at her family and all wave goodbye to her. She turns back and is in tears. Screen freezes.
Precap -- Arzo is heading for security check when she overhears Sahir talk to someone on phone about BLASTING the whole place. She tips off a security person about Sahir's plan to blast the airport. Cops lead Sahir away. Arzo is delighted with herself and brags ..no one can do any harm to the place where Arzo is on watch. She says.. 'Uss terrorist ki to humne charas bo di'.
