Kabir tries to convince the police commissioner that Amrita is providing him crucial clues & merely helping him with Trisha's case. He gives the examples of that novel that they found in Trisha's locker, her medical-leave certificate and the pendant which Amrita spotted at Lonavala. The commissioner refuses to believe that Kabir, being the shrewd & talented officer that he is, requires any outside help and that too from a woman. He advises him not to provoke Prateek Swaika as he's an influential man who's capable of destroying his career. (The commissioner is Kabir's fater-in-law by the way) He advises him to find such a new life partner who will give him a new lease on life & not cut it short.
Prem is shocked that his secret is out. He tries to deny the affair & tells Kushan that Lavanya & him are just good friends & nothing more than that. Kushan grabs his collar & yells at him for lying. Prem asks him to leave as he's expecting a guest & tries to assure him that it's not Lavanya. Kushan says that he'll stay there anyway. Prem tells him that he can't intrude his house like that. Kushan breaks a glass-plate from the dining table & aggressively tells him that it's him who's intruded his personal life & family. Kushan leaves his house.
Amrita prays to an idol of Ganeshji & asks Him to return Trisha as she's keeping a fast for her too.
Lavanya is just across street from Prem's house when she receives a call from Prem, warning her about Kushan. But, Kushan spots her & starts yelling at her for lying about her so-called 'breakfast meeting' and meeting her boyfriend instead. The security guards at Prem's house & other pedestrians stare at them arguing on the street. Lavanya keeps denying the affair but Kushan tells her to stop hiding her "cheap secrets" and calls her a "shameless woman". He tells her about the text messages which he read on her phone & warns her that she has no idea what's coming for her next. Lavanya is left shocked and speechless. Kushan leaves from there.
Sonali tries to ask Amrita if all is well with her marriage & personal life as Prateek behaved oddly with her since his return from Lonavala. Amrita tells her that Prateek is just stressed about Trisha.
Lavanya & Prem are tensed about what Kushan is going to do next. Prem tells her that Kushan wanted to catch them red-handed & today he succeeded in doing so. Prem tells Lavanya that they must disclose their affair to everyone as they can no longer hide it. Lavanya refuses to accept that option as she fears the embarrassment & humiliation which she'll go through. Prem tells her that she can move-in with him if her marriage breaks. Lavanya snootily tells him that their affair doesn't mean she's committed to him in any way as she'll always remain Kushan's wife. She breaks up with Prem & tells him that they'll only maintain a professional relationship from now on.
Kabir receives a phone call from Amrita, asking him if he found any new clue. Kabir tells her that he's found nothing & that he's in a hurry so he can't talk to her. He ends the call. Kabir reaches Swaikas' office where the new secretary informs him that Prateek Swaika doesn't want to meet him. Kabir enters his office room anyway. Kabir asks him if he has a problem with him. He says that he always thought Prateek to be man enough to talk to him directly instead of complaining about him to his seniors behind his back. Prateek tells him stay in his limits as he doesn't like his increasing closeness to Amrita. Kabir clarifies that he's just doing his job & has nothing to do with Amrita. Prateek tells him to address her as "Mrs. Swaika" and not "Amrita" as they are not friends. He says that it looks like Kabir is concentrating more on comforting his wife rather than finding Trisha. Kabir says that its OK if he's suspecting him but as a husband he should've trusted his wife & not doubted her like that. Prateek strictly warns him that if he wants to pursue this case then he'll not be contacting Amrita. He tells Kabir it's him who is Amrita's husband & she'll do as he says. Kabir replies that she's a mother too & she'll do what she yearns for more. Kabir taunts him that if he loved her so much then he won't be having an affair with Neha. Prateek raises his hand to hit him but stops. Kabir tells him that he can hit him if he wants. Prateek again warns him to just do his job. Kabir replies that he's trying to do his job but he keeps interfering in it. Kabir leaves his office.
Precap: Prateek tells Amrita that he wants to her out on lunch.
She gets ready but then realizes she has kept a fast for Trisha & can't have lunch.
Kushan breaks Lavanya's picture in a fit of rage.
Prateek calls Kabir & instructs him that he'll update him regarding the case. He tells him not to call Amrita. Amrita overhears him.
